Oh my :damn::damn::damn:

this shyt is toooooo hard it’s a true loss that this beat wasn’t on the album. I’m just hearing this now.

I still gotta give the album more spins will be back later to post my thoughts on it.

Edit: The more I think of it I’m choked that they didn’t clear this sample it’s way better than the album version. This is the one thing I needed on the album, this versions next level.

Yooo

Can't lie, I'm not feeling this too much :patrice:

FKTG was dope but i lowered my expectations for this because it was a Shady release & still felt this was mid.

Will give it another listen later on today though.

I agree, its got a few joints and good subject but its weak in a lot of spots. weak production, lazy features, etc...FKTG shyts on this except for a few joints like John Woo and a couple others. Lock Load would have been much better with another Con verse instead of Beans...or another dope MC

edit: there HAS to be a Deluxe Version to this

The only song on Plugs I Met with a hook is Plug House.

There are only 4 songs out of 14 on TT3 that have hooks on them.
Rubber Bands Weight, Echo Long, Who Are You, and Rick. That's it for Tana Talk 3. No other hooks. I got the album memorized bar for bar. Feel free to go back and listen to it.

By all means man, like Benny more than you like Conway. That's a super fair opinion. I did until 2020, and even now they're both near the top of my list of favorite rappers. But the idea that Conway is the rocking long ass verses without much in the way of hooks (as if the rest of his peers are doing otherwise) is disingenuous.

EDIT: @Heavy_Handz of course Johnny P's Caddy is a great song. You don't gotta tell me. I rushed here to post the thread. It's an incredible song.
I love Stressed & GDMM & I love Lock Load aside from Beans voice being hard to hear over the beat. Don’t get me wrong! I love Piano Love :hubie:

Babas is TOUGH :wow:
I fukk with it too. I didn't get it at first, but now I do. He basically tells his entire life story starting from getting kicked as a baby in the stomach (zippers on stomach) up until now (look what I became, I went from king to a god) and he does it basically just using nouns and little descriptive words. I don't usually love Keisha Plum but it's their first time together and I feel like he almost matched her energy with a spoken word type flow. I feel like he damn near did a Roc Marci type of flow on there with the stream of consciousness / free association bars.

I wish his verse had maybe had another 8 bars on Babas but that's my only issue with it.

Now I can see maybe the reason why they took Courtside off the album. The beat sounds pretty similar to Babas but not as good IMO, and it also has a female speaking on a lot of it.

This is a cool project? Worth all the delays and the hype? Nah, but the worst thing about it were the features. Beans got done dirty, Wayne could've sat that one out, them Drumwork members are white noise to me and that TI joint I didn't even finish. How Jill Scott have the best feature verse and she ain't even a rapper? :stopitslime:

Con finally getting more vulnerable on the mic and it's a good thing. Yall nikkas ain't supermen.

FKTG was a better "album" overall but this was alright.

damn. So Much, is fukking great.
how many rappers he called out with these bars

I never DM'd a rapper my cover and asked them to throw it on his page
I was too focused on stayin' focused (Facts)
I think that's a bogus way to try to get noticed
When people organically fukk with your music, that's a bonus (Talk to 'em)
But to each his own, then, I'd rather grind myself, that's a key component
Like I told Skeese, you gotta seize the moment (You know what I told you, twin)
