He is though :manny:

Post-2002 Primo that is :whoa:
That's my take. Al said it himself. Every beat that Primo did was how a beat should sound. After The Ownerz I feel like his style got a little stale, but pre Ownerz Primo is the GOAT to me.

Man this beat is so damn average :mjlol:

I know you weren't replying to me, and even though I like it, it's one of the weaker joints on that EP I think.

These are better.

This last one is pretty crazy. It keeps changing up for at least 90 seconds.

My dudes droppin bodies for a sport / violators got tragedy written all over it like the war report.

I told nikkas Conway was special when dudes was talking that Benny shyt. He ain't fukking with the machine.

matter of fact it ain't too many nikkas fukking with him period.

I dont know shyt about conway....but im loving this album cuz im an Alc stan

brehs help me out where should i start with conway n them?
Man...okay, start with Reject 2. It's from late 2015/early 2016. All produced by Griseda's in-house producer, Daringer.

After that I'd say if you're leaning for more solo work, peep Blakk Tape or Everybody is Food 1 from 2018.

If you'd like more features peep G.O.A.T. (Grimiest of All Time). Featuring Benny, Prodigy, Styles P, Prodigy, Lloyd Banks, and Royce.

His most underrated project is Organized Grime. No one ever talks about it but it's in my top 3-4.

His EP with Prodigy, Hell Still on Earth

And definitey his best verse ever. The Cow.

Lastly, here are some crucial loosies if you're an ALC fan. Also, are you hip to Griselda overall, or also no?

Daringer just be looping shyt.....

That's why he's not considered with the upper echelon of producers
It ain’t just about loops though. Damn near every RZA beat from his half decade run in the 90’s was a loop. Madlib calls himself the loop digga and drops loop after loop. Finding great loops is hard. Sometimes even harder than chopping. If Daringer isn’t considered upper echelon yet it’s not because he’s a loop guy imo. @Piff Perkins laud out some other legit reasons like pretty much the same drum patterns and slow bpms

FACTS..thats why i love chef dreds so much..uptempo
Definitely. Yeah they all sound better on more uptempo beats. Especially West and Conway

Yep. Listening to this Organized Grime project for the first time and we gotta make sure that goes into the official Conway canon when people ask what projects of his are best

No doubt. I’ll even take it over Blakk Tape and Food 1.
:yeshrug:
I think some of it is because you don’t find it when you look up Conway. I don’t understand the labeling of it as Trillmatic Goods? Apollo Brown merked the intro. And these 2 joints put me onto Farma. His sample choices are so eerie.

Same with the Untitled Drums EP produced by Imported Goodz. That’s another one of his best projects. Have you heard that one?

Just listened and that shyt is fire too. The quality these dudes are able to maintain while consistently putting stuff out is insane. GOAT is the only Conway project that i didn’t like when i heard it. That and I think EiF 3

it’s almost too much at times, I’m still thoroughly enjoying HwH 7 and FlyGod is an awesome god and Gunn coming with some new heat

Definitely. I think here in April that Gunn is dropping pray for Paris and Conway is dropping king to a god.

I was very let down by GOAT at the time. The hype behind it was unreal. It had more hype than any Griselda release ever. It was being talked about like it was legitimately the next Purple Tape. Then suddenly with no single (I still don’t think there’s even 1 video for any song on it) it drops on fukkin’ SoundCloud of all places, with tons of great songs taken off of it. Terrible album roll out, and although it’s grown on me, I still think it’s a little cluttered with guests, and ironically I like what was left off (94 Ghost and most of the Daringer produced joints from Reject on Steroids) more than what actually ended up on GOAT.

This and the new Estee Nack album are the most interesting projects of 2020 for me so far. Both Conway and Alchemist on their A game.
Breh. These nikkas don't hear you. :martin: That new Nack and Superior is serious!! :wow:

if yall think vthe estee nack / superior joint fire, yall should take in Mic Charisma (Raticus and Divino)
The latter better iMO

Still need this:feedme:

I have a little list of tentative Conway and Al joints on deck. I'm pretty sure that Kilo in the Trunk is for Hall and Nash 2.

- Kilo in the Trunk feat. Q (longer snippet)

The rest seems to be slated for King to a God dropping on April 30th

- Streets Don't Change (possibly featuring Jadakiss and/or Gibbs)

- Lock and Load

- Rich

- Cocaine Spot feat. WSG and Benny

- Heartless

- All I Need feat. Gibbs
