This and the new Estee Nack album are the most interesting projects of 2020 for me so far. Both Conway and Alchemist on their A game.

Both them new Nack joints is nasty. Peep the Big Ghost Ltd joint too if you haven't done already.

What’s with all the disrespect to Daringer

The dudes made classic songs with breh before branching out to other producers and dropped a damn good album in WWCD
I agree. Daringer’s kind of in a lose/lose situation. Anytime Griselda emcees work with Pete, Alc, or Preem; everyone talks about how they wish they’d work with them instead, and how Daringer’s just a clone of their styles.

Even though he’s clearly influenced by those cats (and heavy RZA influence too IMO) I think he’s improved and has some unique elements of his own style.

He’s a talented producer but he’s having to produce alongside Al (who even Westside Gunn said is also a Griselda member at this point) so his work is always going to be compared to the veterans that he’s working alongside of.

I like that they show him so much loyalty though. Conway even checked Vlad over what I thought was a fairly harmless comment.

@mozichrome Daringer really sold me on Tana Talk 3. That was the first Griselda release that Al had more than 1 or 2 placements on, and they’re still arguably his best work with their crew. Daringer more than held down the bulk of that album though, and showed a lot of growth imo.

I thought Daringer leveled up big time after TT3.
