if you look beyond the retarded "blah blah blah cac" analysis a lot of you morons are trying to push, you can see that connor is actually a really talented fighter. he's certainly not as accomplished or has fought the caliber of guys aldo has...but in terms of skills, particularly striking...his stand-up... he's fukking good. his footwork and movement, his angles, the way he sets up his left straight, etc. if you really watch his fights and break shyt down, it's really impressive.

that's not to say he'll beat jose though. i have aldo winning...i think aldo can beat him standing, still...but unless his ego gets in the way, i think he'll be wrestling mcgregor more than his usual opponents.

His stance renders him pretty susceptible to low kicks that can turn him over like when Nate Diaz gets kicked.
Striking looks flashy, but is actually kinda basic. Dude will throw flashy kicks to get his opponent to do something equally flashy or try to counter, but since he always lands back in a stance to counter, McGregor will often counter their counter with a simple hook or left stright.
Wrestling hasn't been tested because they keep pitting him against brehs with shytty takedowns.
Grappling wise, he trains with Gunnar Nelson, so I'm confident it'll be at least good enough to scramble or shut his opponent down. Don't think he's the type to go for subs though.

His strikings the real deal i dont like showman that talk too much like him and even Muhammad Ali. Im more a fan of the nikkas that just keep to emself an go to work in the ring or cage like Smokin Joe or Aldo. He got some of the best boxing in MMA, a great stance, great footwork, maybe the best left straight, he can fight forward or on the backfoot, he can pressure or counter, he got em Cuban bolo uppercuts....his striking is real. But his ground game since Holloway is still untested. Siver got him down a couple times but he showed he could get back up immediately and Siver has good top contro. He dominated that Holloway fight but both dudes got injured and hes never fought a grappler close to Aldos level.............at the same time Aldos never fought a striker as good as Conor. Its gon be a fight u dont wanna miss will be way better than Floyd/Pac

The best striker in the division....humongous for the division....I think Aldo has more north-south speed...but Conor's overall movement could stifle that.

If Jose doesn't utilize his overall mma game on the 11th of July....we got a new champion....and although I'm more of a Jose guy....Conor winning could be GREAT for the sport . Even if he wins...I think they would take part in an epic trilogy .

Potential elite tier striker imo. Very sharp with his strikes, with smoothness and accuracy. He does a lot of little things to create openings and and keep his opponents off balance. Like varied use footwork, taunting while sliding into range unnoticed. Unlike most karate stance guys he has great hands and decent power in both. He's very technical on the low but he hides it behind the antics. People talk up how much his wrestling is untested but his standup is relatively untested as well with how dominant he's been . Aldo will be the best striker he's faced, but connor also is probably the best striker Aldo has faced. Aldo has spent the majority of his UFC reign beating wrestlers playing catch up with the hands. this fight is more up in the air than folks realize.

Jose can't stand the entire 25 minutes with this dude....I strongly feel this way...use the strikes to set up TDs and maul his ass down there. But other than the minute takedowns Siver got...Conor got up rather quickly and he seems to move well when he actually is on the ground. I know I'm copping this one...full price.
