How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
How did he become a Warrior in the first place? :stopitslime:

I get it, its fukked up he got injured but lets not act like the coli aint call him a snake

a lot of you are of the moment clout-chasing in this thread

again im saying the situation is karma not the injury, he literally put himself in this position:francis:
At the end of the day, we don’t shyt what KD eats. A lot of us were hating on KD, but practically none of us wanted to see him get injured like that. Wanting someone to have a bad game and lose isn’t the same thing as wanting to see someone lose their livelihood.

I will never understand how some people take sports that serious.

Clown him for leaving OKC if you want, that’s your right. Clown him for the Twitter accounts too if you want (that was some clown shyt). But that man made a decision to do what he felt was best for HIS life. That’s HIS right. Besides being thin-skinned, what has KD done to anyone that would merit a career-altering injury?

:mindblown:

nikka got the nerve to bring karma into it. fukk is wrong with some of these dudes?

I agree

but yet here we are

his initial calf-strain was possibly unavoidable,

the re-injury that made it worse was not

Zeke talked about his Achilles injury on the NBATV postgame show. Said his was partially torn already and the doctors said it wouldn't get any better with rest; eventually it was just gonna tear completely so he decided to play on it.

Everyone's so quick to blame someone for this happening but it mighta happened regardless and he probably wouldn't take no for an answer going into this game. It's just an incredibly unfortunate situation.

The fake outrage on here is nauseating.
I was having this convo with my boy last night about hot take culture. EVERYTHING has to immediately be about blaming someone or something. Teams can't just lose, someone has to to the person getting blamed. An injury can't happen, it has to be a coach playing someone too much or in this case trying to blame an organization for letting the player play. Meanwhile the same people killing the team and the player for not playing in the first place. Sometimes shyt just happens. It's fukked up, but no need to try and get the hot takes blame and crucifying someone for it especially considering we don't have the behind the scenes information. Everybody just plays the results.

True but the second injury was completely avoidable

Greed was the cause

I know yall hate for it to be put so bluntly but its facts :manny:

Bob Myers presser was a clear PR move from the organization. All that fake crying with no tears in sight. The doctors and medical staff will take the fall for this, but the organization def influenced this situation.

Trying to shift the blame to the media and fans was ridiculous. If KD let that noise dictate him playing despite him not feeling right, then SMMFH.

Unreal

the men running that team have a lot to answer for.
you've just caused the best player in the league a year and his potential move.

when your teams chances of losing the championship is on the line, if you feel you can play then the player is going to want to play. they've put a players career at risk for this. they better hope they pull off this come back.

That was a few leg injuries.Im not buying KD had a different injury and him deciding to come back killed the achilles. On the very first realmove he made:comeon:? The owner already said it was the achilles so why we need an MRI? The owner told you at the press conference it was an achilles. Either hes a psychic or they let him go out with a damaged achilles and play.
If it was an Achilles tear and not his calf then that’s fukked up. Either way with his calf injured, it put more pressure on his Achilles.

Last night might have been the last time we've seen Prime KD.

He's 30, 7 feet tall, with an achilles tear (more than likely). It's wild tho, cause Kawhi literally said fukk what these doctors saying, I'm not right, I'm not playing and sat out a year. The irony and the contrast between these guys is crazy, because deep down, we all know KD wanted to prove everybody how bad he wanted to play and perform... where Leonard on the other hand doesn't care what anybody says outside of him and his circle

Sometimes you have to be selfish.
This is such reacting to what happened

There’s was more going on with Kawhi and y’all know that. He was trying to force his way out and Kawhi wasn’t deciding from playing in the finals and helping his KD

KD made the decision that everyone would make. If he didn’t want to play he wouldn’t have

They mentioned on the pre-game broadcast that the Warriors medical team clarified to KD that the only risk would be that he'd further strain his calf if got re-injured. No injury to his Achilles. That was the medical staff.

The Warriors organization clearly mishandled the situation and rushed him back too early.

They knew the Achilles could pop, they were just selfish about it, and didnt tell KD everything :francis:
