They gotta give him a Goat story and villain to fight against because Spectre was decent but underwhelming... I didn't feel a sense of fear or urgency when he uncovers this vast conspiracy... 
That last part is bullshyt if you look at bond history. For a generation Brosnan is the man. I’d argue he only has one good bond movie. Roger Moore has his fans and his movies are wildly inconsistent. Connery did 6 and only gave a shyt for three of them. Even on this site as bond fans we don’t all agree with what flicks are great and which aren’t. Bond is the one franchise where so many factors play into how you rank the actors but it all comes down to subjectivity.
His legacy will be defined by nostalgia just like every other bond. There are even a group of bond fans who are coming around on quantum of solace and I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes a gem later on the way on her majesty’s secret service has.

I love Murphy, that would be an interesting choice..was a lil mad he was relegated to “soldier on boat” for dunkirkFunny thing is I'm watching Peaky Blinders right now (watched the first season years ago and stopped after that for some reason) and Cillian Murphy would be perfect as Bond. I'd even pick him over Tom Hardy and I'm a Hardy stan
I feel like you can't go back to pretty boys being Bond after Daniel Craig. If Murphy puts on 25-30lbs of muscle he'd be perfect. We know dude can rock a suit and he has the mysterious/dark/brooding look that I feel modern Bond needs.

The final act is pretty suspect though. I will always believe that sans writer strike, it would be an all-time Bond film and better than Casino Royale.Thats true, but skyfall has a terrible final act and was celebrated. Even the final act in casino royal isn't all that since it fukks up the pacing of the movie. Pacing wise, the movie should have ended after le chiffre got killed, but it drags on for another 45 minutes or so, including the cringefest of bond in loveEverything before they crash in the desert is absolutely GREAT. Big Dave brought henchmen back with Mr. Hinx. The return of Blofeld. That opening in Mexico City. Skyfall felt too much like The Dark Knight.

Spectre has the goat opening scene and the car chase scene with Mr. Hinx is great too, but it completely falls off when they go to tanger.
NO ONE, in this Bond universe, KNOWS WHO THE fukk BLOFELD IS. It was a weak AF attempt to tie everything together, when it clearly wasn't the original plan.
