And this is the problem I have with this thing failing, not because of those who made it, but because of those who are going to scream and cry about ANYTHING black moving forward while screaming "Broke Woke" and writing thesis statements on why Black Protags of any kind aren't a good thing.
But...in all honesty, it was pretty bad regardless.
spectre divide almost at 1k on steam and that shyt was getting killed for looking like budget concord not too long ago 
As the only person on this board who plays the game I enjoyed my time. With that said out of all my years gaming I've never seen no shyt like this lol.

I saw the trailer when it dropped and it looked like everything wrong with modern gaming wrapped into one game.

People pushing the “you can’t make a new GAAS“ narrative when Helldivers 2 isnt even a year old.
Concord just didn’t have ANY good hooks for a multiplayer game. That cutscene they used to reveal the game played better as a faux-GOTG narrative driven game. Having it be some hero shooter made zero sense.
Helldivers had the Starship Troopers aesthetic, MGS5 movement, and the stratagem system working its its favor to make it stand out.
Concord ain’t have shyt. It was Knock off Square Enix GOTG meets knock off Destiny.

Yup, had Concord just been a 8-12 hour story based shooter with the same MP mode it wouldn't have been as bad.
It would be like revealing Uncharted as a CGI trailer and then gameplay trailer is a card game.

shyt was gonna flop even without that pronoun shyt. Gameplay was solid, but it wasn't anything special. And with Madden, 2K, NCAA, and now even Wutang Monkey, writing was on the wall.
Time for this GAAS bullshyt to end.
Hate it for the studio, but Sony already hit on Helldivers 2. This was a far cry from that game.
