How can these games be a specific niche if they are the majority popularity of the fps genre? Thats the opposite of a niche

You in here typing essays and almost every paragraph you type just gets worse and worse

See, you just continue to type stupid shyt.

Multiple similar games have came out like the games listed and have saw big success
I said they fill a specific niche in their space.

And no one has been able to replace them because they have those niches/genres on lock.
That's why GAAS has failed because anyone else who tries to enter that space cannot replicate the
success of those games.

My longer posts reiterated my point.

It's not that I'm typing stupid shyt, it's that you lack reading comprehension.

Game as a service is quite honestly one of the worst ideas to ever exist.
And outside of a few key titles it has repeatedly failed.

Concord.
Anthem.
Suicide Squad.
There are several others that literally absolutely went NOWHERE.

The managers and executives at these keys should have their heads removed for signing off on
these concepts and getting/destroying studios. There needs to be more pressure on these executives
for making these kinds of decisions.

I'm not sure what we're arguing here.
Outside of the, what, ten games? Maybe 15 that dominate and are built
around GAAS, the rest of them have FAILED.

And this is across all platforms.
Mobile.
Console.
PC.
Many, many of the imitators or copycats have failed miserably.

It's not to say the successful games aren't successful, it's to talk about the graveyard of titles that came out.

Micrsoft.
Sony.
Blizzard.
EA.
Square Enix.
fukking Nintendo.
So many publishers tried rolling out GAAS games that bombed and were promptly
taken off the market, making them completely inaccessible, some of which cost money to play
and weren't built around a Free2Play model.

Others like the Assassin's Creed titles just alter the core of the game and push GAAS in game services.

But the idea of a game being HBO or Netflix is largely a failure IMO.
And reminds of me when everyone and their monther was making MMOs in the early 2000s to replicate
Everquest (and then WOW).

Physical copy of this will end up being one of the rarest games in PS5 history.

I was gonna say that PS5s that actually keep this installed on the system instead of refunding it are probably gonna end up as pseudo-collectors items like the few PS4s that still have P.T. on them one day. :pachaha:

Your post is wrong.

Literally dozens of single player games die everyday.

As much as none of you want to admit it. GAAS literally SAVED your way of gaming.

If people weren’t spending all the money they do on games like fortnight, COD, Minecraft, etc then AAA gaming would gone away a long time ago :manny:
