The white celebrities that are supporting this know how good this shyt will be for there brand same with black celebs that are in business with white people. Both races are pandering to the opposite race for business purposes at the end of the day.

What did killer mike say that was wrong?

:yeshrug: I have no problem with what he had to say. His speech was 8 minutes long. As far as him mentioning family who are cops....anyone who has seen an interview with Mike has seen him mention this 100s of times when police brutality comes up.

I understand his frustration and pain. Especially coming from atlanta and how much that city means in black american history. I mean arguably the greatest human america has ever produced came out of that city. The amount of black leaders and intellectuals that have came out of there is incredible.

Also there is a fear that if it burns down it will never come back. If folks don't believe me go ask black folks in their 60s and 70s from detroit, chicago and cleveland. The black population has never recovered from the riots in the 60s.

Ain't just that. Folks main fear is what happens if I stick my neck out and lose everything. Who got my back.

Lets keep it 100. There have been a laundry list of black folks who have stuck their necks out lost everything and were never taken care of for sticking their necks out.

For god sakes the great rosa parks was gonna be evicted and if it wasn't for the owner of little ceasars the queen would have been living on the streets. There was no reason for that sista to not have black folks all around the country chip in and take care of her if need be. She was a national treasure.

Or how about Mahmoud Abdul Rauf, Craig Hodges, Tommy Smith and John Carlos.

We can't be expecting these folks to put they necks out then when they fall not willing to help them. Especially when we ain't willing to do the same.

This basically the same discussion that came up with the kap kneeling situation. And everyone wanted them kats to kneel, but when kats kneeled and lost endorsement money. Or kneeled and got cut (3rd, 4th and 5th rounders). Everyone was quiet as a church mouse and not even willing to say hey lets make a gofund for this person who stuck they neck out for us.

Thank you.

Atlanta represents too much black excellence to fukk it. I know folks are mad but I really don’t wanna see any black businesses messed up.

I don’t think too many black owned spots got messed up. I know Big Dave’s did downtown, and the next day folks helped me clean the broken windows & a celeb donated money to him.

Trust breh if you black and know black history or have some connections to the south and family have civil rights connections. You know how important Atlanta is. Its basically our Jerusalem.

My parents were in the civil rights movement, my grandparents are from the south. And I know a lot about black history. Plus I am from chicago. So I know how important Atlanta is to our history and how riots have an impact on black folks communities. Man I do not want to see Atlanta burn down and halt black folks progress as what happened to cities (with large numbers of blacks) in the midwest during the 60s.

It would be as painful as seeing New Orleans flooded during katrina (knowing the black history of that city).

I know no-one wants to hear from c00nye but you have to admit just, his silence is incredible. :wow:

Really tells you everything. :mjpls:

I was going to make a thread earlier asking has anyone seen him say anything?

The silence is deafening, as you know his watching.

Maybe he'll write something about those high priced 'urban' clothes shops getting looted

Yep it still disgusts me to this day how Hodges and abdul rauf were done. Them brothas put they necks on the line and lost everything. shyt abdul rauf even had his home burned down. And them brothas weren't thrown not one and I mean not one fukking life line.

Hodges even admitted in the 2010s I believe that he actually regretted giving that letter to bush sr. Not that he didn't believe in what he wrote to bush. Its the fact that because he lost everything he wasn't able to help black folks like he did when he was able to make money. Basically all the shyt he did in the community dried up cause he had no funds.

He mentioned that if he would have just kept some things to himself he could have continued to make money and actually help even more black folks out in the long run.

This is also why some entertainers don't say too much but do back door deals for black folks. As I mentioned before folks were calling the late great sammie davis a c00n, but this brotha was opening doors for black folks all while helping to support the civil rights movement financially.

But that’s YOU breh. Not everyone should share the same experiences and opinion as you. Thats irrational to even think that. That dude acknowledged the fact that he isn’t fully black but he’s mixed. He knows that biracial people have a privilege and I respect that. He’s a honest biracial and we need more like him.

You wouldn’t even be considered black in most parts of the world. In South Africa you’d be a color’d. nikkas would laugh at you calling yourself black. In my family nikkas would know you’re a half breed. I can spot y’all out from a mile away.

@GrindtooFilthy can attest to this
will yall stop and with all these stupid shyt about trying to acknowledge White sides and all that crap yall spew.

since when did you nikkas start caring about people acknowledging they Whiteside and how they're only acknowledging their black side.

even if they did, yall would be sitting here using it against other biracial people saying "see thats how these mulattos are" or complaining about how "they never big up their black side"

I wish you people would stop with this fake caring BS.

South Africa is not in a good position to use as a ideal place we as black americans need to be.

South Africa even has Africans like the xhoasian people. Or anyone with a hint of lighter than expectedskin be seen as colored you even have people who are say dark brown considering themselves colored

so who cares what South Africa. Yall nikkas dont seem to realize bringing up these foreign countries makes yall look straight dumb given these countries have people in far worst situations and more dived and fukked up than we are.

The system we have, is why we paved the best route with what we are given as opposed to others(brazilians, south africans) that are not half way near where we are at.

nikka shut the fukk up. You don’t know me or what I stand for. And I could barely read through that incoherent ass response.

Tokyo Jetz (who?) made an apology video for making a joke saying she would choke these hoes out like George Floyd. Apparently she is signed to grand hustle so I guess that would make her one of T.I.’s artists. (Where is B.O.B.? I know he got some dumb shyt to say)

She wiped her IG and posted a teary eyed video saying it was a stupid joke.

fukk out of here bytch.
