I can respect that. I used to get on you because I thought you were one of them biracial nikkas that pick and choose which side to play.I acknowledge I'm biracial. I never said "im black" as you stated.
I just can't relate to his point of view...I just relate more to the black experience/culture than the white experience.
But when I went to college I was treated as a black person and I have been treated as a black person all my life so I feel like I have the right to say I understand what it feels like to be black. That is why I'm saying I can't relate to what he is saying. But I grew up in Philly and I hung out with all black people. Maybe he didnt.
But I would never say I understand how it feels to be 100% black because I am obviously aware my lighter skin tone and different type of hair can be ambiguous to some.... affording me the benefit of the doubt whereas other people with darker skin might not get the same luck.
Either way I fight for the oppressed
That's all
drake has the biggest voice...cause he has crossover fans...
remember the verzus...shyt is dead now
Remember drake said he only had to deal with racism when he came to America from
African Americans. Because we had inside jokes he didn’t understand. He felt left out. Smh
I hate to be that person but it’s the ugly truth people don’t want to acknowledge. I got called a full blown black supremacist because I said a biracial/mixed person isn’t black and that only a black man and black women can create a black child.But that’s YOU breh. Not everyone should share the same experiences and opinion as you. Thats irrational to even think that. That dude acknowledged the fact that he isn’t fully black but he’s mixed. He knows that biracial people have a privilege and I respect that. He’s a honest biracial and we need more like him.
You wouldn’t even be considered black in most parts of the world. In South Africa you’d be a color’d. nikkas would laugh at you calling yourself black. In my family nikkas would know you’re a half breed. I can spot y’all out from a mile away.
@GrindtooFilthy can attest to this
He also said the lil Jewish girls in his community up in Toronto "didn't treat him nice because he looked different."
But I guess it's not racism when THEY do it...
Most of the black celebs are chiming in on the looting and violence. I’m dead ass seeing white people like Steve Nash, Justin Timberlake and Marc Jacobs make statements about police brutality, black lives and putting bread up, not giving a fukk about white corporate America. fukking Timothee Chamalat was out wit protestors giving static to LAPD but nikkas like Meek and Gillie are mad about looting.
Virgil c00n ass crying about his overpriced thrift stores. Boi-1da complaining on twitter and wanting life to go “back to real life and normalcy” the same real life and normal where we are killed with impunity almost DAILY. These nikkas want to go back to their private jets and VIP parties in their Gucci and Chanel. They don’t give a fukk about the black plight and suffering and once this is over, we gotta get all these nikkas outta here. No more shows, no more buying they albums or streaming they shyt. fukk em all. Don’t let these nikkas get another penny from us since they showing us how they really feel about us.
Sad to see these brehs rushing through the door to embarrass themselves.
I hope the community learns, some of these people get that $ and never look back. They don't give a single fukk, it's a different world of racism. It's doors being shut racism, rarely violent but still rich. Like Byron Allen, mega-rich but Comcast and co ain't carrying black-owned shyt. It's that glass ceiling to upper echelon of socety. That shyt will stay old money cac.
