I acknowledge I'm biracial. I never said "im black" as you stated.

I just can't relate to his point of view...I just relate more to the black experience/culture than the white experience.

But when I went to college I was treated as a black person and I have been treated as a black person all my life so I feel like I have the right to say I understand what it feels like to be black. That is why I'm saying I can't relate to what he is saying. But I grew up in Philly and I hung out with all black people. Maybe he didnt.

But I would never say I understand how it feels to be 100% black because I am obviously aware my lighter skin tone and different type of hair can be ambiguous to some.... affording me the benefit of the doubt whereas other people with darker skin might not get the same luck.

Either way I fight for the oppressed
