I have no qualms at the top 5. I wouldnt have Cosby at #1 , but I see why it is.

I'm glad A Different World got some props.

I would've had My Wife and Kids in the top 10 tho

The rest: @labelplant

25. Steve Harvey Show
24. Sister, Sister
23. Family Matters
22. What's Happening?
21. Jamie Foxx Show
20. Hanging With Mr. Cooper
19. Different Strokes
18. Roc
17. Wayans Brothers
16. Moesha
15. 227
14. Bernie Mac Show
13. Everybody Hates chris
12. Julia
11. Girlfriends

:to: Nobody gon' mention Smart Guy? That's unfair

Girlfriends ranked above Everybody Hates Chris? :comeon::ufdup:
I love EHC, but, I could understand it having a bigger impact. I don't even remember EHC before it became syndicated.

Sidebar: Watchin' Girlfriends, as much as I did, legit made me afraid of women. I couldn't have dealt with none of those types of women.

But how are Steve Harvey, Everybody Hates Chris, Jamie Foxx etc. on that list...but My Wife & Kids isn't?????
W&K >>> Foxx, Harvey...yes, even the Wayans Brothers...

surprised by all the My Wife and Kids fans. it was solid the first two seasons but once they turned Jr. retarded and introduced that annoying little kid it became corny as hell.

I agree; the show lacked it's earlier polish towards the end and they did overuse Franklin, but, I liked the nod to the classic black TV show does-this-kid-ever-go-home character arc .

All the Katt Williams eps are classic (even the one where he bought Michael's companies. @ "Franks and Bubbly."

Damon Wayans mannerisms are top notch, too. And don't forget about Calvin .

@Easy-E trust me, I love all those shows...but I can't say that Harvey was better than MW&K.

I want to hear how the list makers feel about the show.

:guilty:

My remedial-ation kicked in and I put the "<" the wrong way

I actually think; if you pull My Wife & Kids off because of the "retarded" character, then, you gotta pull Wayans Brothers (Marlon and most of they're friends) and the Jamie Foxx Show (the show was mostly a bunch of gags).

The bad thing about MWK was Jay's character was more annoying than retarded Junior and Franklin.

boondocks and fat albert shouldn't be on the list, those are cartoons really.

Family matters being 23 is criminal. Should be top 10.

I wasn't abig fan of a different world, but you gotta put the mac man and chris rock in the top 10.

My wife and Kids should be top 20, and Wayans Brothers top 12 somewhere.

I'm surprised i didn't see parenthood at all, or a show like thea

My Wife and Kids was always corny to me. I'd definitely put Wayans Brothers above that.

My Love Goes Bang Bang Bang >>>> My Wife and Kids

I'm surprised that show gets so many mentions, the only person I know who watched it was my sister.

Im suprised that the Boondocks was up that high. And A Different World was that show for the peope hating. The first to show college life from the black perspective. And it tackled a lot of taboo issues, such as racism, abuse, AIDs, sexual harassment, etc. I go with Cosby, Martin, Sanford, Fresh Prince, Good Times, as my top five. But a case can be made for A Different World being as high as number two. And Family Matters is entirely to low even though they went over the top with the Urkel shenanigans it's still better than some of the shows above it. And My Wife and Kids definitely should have been on the list.

They almost--almost--overused Tony. They almost had him on every ep, at one point.

My favorite Tony moment:

When Claire got a new boyfriend. Michael tried to get Tony's swag up. They were in the garage and he had him read a XXL to learn some slang.

Mike: NAAAAAHH Mean, NNNAAAHHH Mean. Go head, say it.

Tony: Na', Na', Meh, Na', Meh'...

Mike:  Tony, it's ebonics, not Hebrew.
