comedians often suffer from depression. I read a whole psychological breakdown on comedians (by an actual psychologist), they use comedy to mask their feelings so they can play "characters" and avoid showing their real selves

Yeah to be honest, he always kinda came off this way to me. He was so over the top with the characters but always seemed to have a sadness in his eyes, and it often showed through in his more serious roles.

this is a damn shame....But I watched some of his recent interviews and definitely didn't come off like his usual self, everything seemed forced you could see he wasn't all there....depression is a bytch man....
