He was a well-known, self-declared drug addict.
He checked himself into a renewal center just a few weeks ago.

Whitney was high and accidentally drown. This dude committed suicide because he was depressed and most likely broke. Regardless of whether or not he was on drugs, he'd still be depressed and broke. It's not like he accidentally died due to drugs, he killed himself.

So it seems like you're trying to draw a comparison that doesn't fit, at all.

I agree we don't have toxicology reports but I wouldn't be shocked at all if he was high on drugs or Drunk before he hung himself. I been hearing about Robin's drug issue for many, many years even when I was younger.

That's like saying that drugs didn't lead to Kurt Cobain's suicide.
He'd still be alive if he wasn't on drugs.

We have no way of knowing that. Cobain had clinical depression and instability that predates any record of his drug use.

Factually we know the average person doesn't drown in a bath tub, though. A shot gun to the face will kill you just fine, regardless of how sober you are. One made a conscious effort to end their life (like Williams) one died because they were zoned out on drugs in a bathtub.

If you want to start a thread on why white drugged out celebs get a billion 2nd chances that aren't given to minorities, go for it. You could've just said RIP and kept it moving in here, though.

But I can't help but feel cynical at the adulation and eulogizing in the media today, especially for someone with decades-long problems of drug use. People are only talking about his talent and making excuses for his drug addiction... Same shyt with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Now, compare that to the overwhelmingly negative coverage of Whitney Houston's death...

I won't say race isn't a factor but Whitney had turned into kind of joke though in her behavior and shyt hurting her image severely . Robin Williams was pretty low key with his fukkery in that he wasn't doing reality shows acting like a crazy person or even Amy winehouse who was more upfront with her fukkery
