It’s sad man. So close to Christmas too. But he knew he was going to die from what Pete is saying.

Either they caught it very late or he didn’t go to the dr frequently enough for them to catch it earlier. But we don’t know his family history, maybe he has a few close male relatives who have died from similar or the same causes.

He talked on the show about how he had to tell his mom he had cancer. Said she was in her 90s and she already lost a brother to colon cancer.

He also said he was afraid of his mom's hearing about his cancer from news outlets or some random Joe's telling her about it
"I'd hate to have beaten this cancer but have the stress/worry of me going through this kill my mom's"
That line is mad heartbreaking in retrospect. Imagine what she's going through right now.

I went back to ByronCrawford.com the other day just to read those original stories he wrote, back when he was still practicing law and had to come up with the pseudonym "Combat Jack" to tell industry stories.
It's crazy that was 13-14 years ago, those stories are all still hilarious. Then when he started doing the podcasts with Dallas Penn etc. I was all in. Dude was funny and really cared about Hip hop.
