No lie he came into this bar in ridgewood queens I used to work at a few months back with this Asian broad.

Just by chance I was playing 90's rap music when he walked in (Owner didn't allow it but that cocksucker wasn't there lol). We started talking music and I didn't even know it was him until he said something. Told me some dope stories from when he was with Bad Boy back in the day.

Awesome dude. He looked 100% when I saw him too man this is crazy.

lowkey been avoiding this thread because i still cant believe it. i used to post their shyt all the time if somebody else didnt already beat me to it. been listening to the show since the PNC days and once i stopped fukking with traditional radio and subscribing to satellite this was the perfect replacement. DJ Benhameen's mixes were fire, the show was funny and they would talk about latest music and current events. a lot of people were doing that format but not like THAT. the show was perfect but it evolved a couple times over the years and eventually The Combat Jack Show got overshadowed by some of the newer and younger podcasts on LSN. im a young nikka so i naturally gravitated towards those but when they would try to do interviews it made me appreciate Combat's interview skills even more...they were more loose with the guests which i loved because it reminded me of the old Combat Jack Show BUT when the laughs stopped, on some journalistic shyt, these shows wasnt giving it up like that...you would leave a Combat Jack interview feeling like you knew everything about an artist. right now only Questlove's podcast and ItsTheReal actually attempt to give you a guests full biography. i digress tho, those CJS episodes are like archives and need to be put on a reel so they can go in a museum one day. rest in power to the legend, Combat Jack.

also with all that being said while we on some health and wellness shyt i was about to eat this nasty ass pan pizza and some other junk food yesterday and almost threw the fukk up...i had been on the keto diet for 5 months and lost 30+ lbs so i shouldnt have been eating that shyt anyway which is probably why my body rejected it but i thought about how sick i felt at that moment, this thread and clips from certain health documentaries that i watched and decided to throw all the meat and dairy out of my fridge....I made the decision to go full vegan and realized that i dont need that shyt at all and can easily throw down in the kitchen without it. just gotta go to the store and stock up on herbs and spices now.

This is when Dallas was around well I got called up by Dallas as "Beard Gang" They were giving away some shyt can't recall but If you go back and listen to that episode I was there.

One of my favourite interview is the one with Mike Holman.

They talk about the early beginnings of hip hop, him going down to the Bronx with the manager of the Sex pistols . Also talks about know Basquiat and being in his band. Really dope.
