Best thing to ever happen to Mathis was to end up in D2 this year.

Lord knows he would’ve lost to Samples again if Desoto was in D1.

He finally about to get one though. Would’ve had a few already if Kyler Murray didn’t exist.

The crazy thing is the best Desoto teams talent wise were from '98-'99 and they did nothing in the playoffs with all that would become NFL talent.

If we’re talking about 2018-2019 Duncanville? Nah, cause those are Samples’ best teams ever imo.
