Prestone Stone seems to be the early favorite prize QB for '21. If so hopefully Dematarius doesn't go somewhere and terrorizes us for years.

I think so. I'm not particularly high on Card, not sure Hornsby is a college QB, and TBD on Roschon, but he could easily be the next Jerrod Heard. Stone seems to have all the tools and at a younger age. Word is he will go to Highland Park for his junior and senior seasons.

I was just a QC coach tho so I really didn’t do shyt. I’m trying to get back into it though I may go see if I can join the staff on a school that hasn’t won a game in 6 years


I been studying the flexbone for years, but with Georgia Tech moving away from it, now only Army, Navy and GA Southern run it on the big level. Kids probably not going to want to play in that system but I think it’ll be good for the school I want to coach at.

But in this day and age would y’all run that system or go for the spread that is so popular now?

I don't think they have an equivalent for HP. Katy would probably be the Southlake comp but even there Southlake is much more affluent.

Yeah whenever I see his highlights on the Maxpreps or UTR Youtube channel, I sometimes question what's so special about him that has him ranked as the #1 recruit in the nation. Duncanville also made him a non-factor in the state title game using a dime package.

I think in college he needs to split carries with between-the-tackles power RBs because most of the plays he makes are to the outside. You don't see him making that many tough between-the-tackles plays.

i won't be surprised if one or two of these 2020 backs in texas have better careers than him. he apparently doesn't have a good attitude/work ethic too.

I've only watched the first 2 minutes of this highlight & it's exactly what you'd expect. This Mexican school don't have the athletes to be playing Aledo. The look slow & unathletic AF.
