I've only watched the first 2 minutes of this highlight & it's exactly what you'd expect. This Mexican school don't have the athletes to be playing Aledo. The look slow & unathletic AF.

People on my Twitter timeline been saying for months that Haynes King isn't a legit 5-star QB recruit. He's should only be rated a low 4-star recruit. He only moved-up to a 5th-star because he looked good in camp settings against air.

Where you from bro? I am from Longview but live in Dallas. I think Haynes got alot of looks just because his dad is the coach and Longview had an easy schedule last year.

King will be fine he has a ton of potential, he's far from a finished product and that old school pro style offense really does him no favors but it'll be better for him in the long run. They should be spreading it out and running a ton of RPO's
He definitely has a lot of work to do on his decision making and mechanics based on last night's game though.

Card is better but to be fair the Austin competition he faces is trash. Longview plays much better competition.
Carthage/Pleasant Grove is the GOTY in East Texas. This is the type of game ESPN should be showing.
