Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Nah, I rate the projects super high. Some of the most consistent projects he’s had in his career. Not sure if it reaches some of the highs of past projects but I probably have KD3 and Magic in my top 5 which is saying something given his illustrious career. Incredible run.

I should make a poll on this but I will ask here, so who had the better run, Nas & Hitboy or Ransom & Craven?

Looking at Nas weird after Nasir how ? Y’all blamed Kanye and his antics for that album

People were saying Nas was off beat and talking about him falling off. Articles wondering why he didn't address the Kelis allegations, claims of him being an anti-vaxxer. Threads where people were taking his previous "bad" albums, shaving them down to seven tracks, and talking about how even those were better. Talking about how he missed his window to drop something after "Nas Album Done" came out. It was his first album in six years, and the first one since Life is Good, and a Kanye-produced album, so expectations were high. Most people didn't know exactly how much Kanye fukked up when the album first came out.

King's Disease was seen as the return to form. Trying to downplay the Hit-Boy era and what it meant to Nas' career makes no sense to me.

KD3 - 🎤🎤🎤🎤
Magic - 🎤🎤🎤🎤

The rest was 🎤🎤🎤 and a 1/2 at best

I listened to all this shyt recently and its not moving like yall said it was at the time

Magic 2 was a 🎤🎤
Ironically I liked KD3 and Magic the best out of the series as well. I will have to go back and listen to the rest again but those two were my faves.

The issue with those albums, wasn't Nas.

Which is why people like to shy away from speaking on the production, and they focus on how much they love Nas, lol. The run gets a lot of criticism because Hit-Boy ain't dope enough to have that many damn albums with Nas. Nas admittedly likes to experiment, but had he done that many projects with a dope or legendary producer, we'd be looking at all classic albums.

Away from Magic, which Hit-Boy had a lot of help on, whether people know it or not, the rest of that run was wild forgettable when it comes to the beats. Whenever the Primo project drops, we'll see Nas back in the company of a producer who's actually worthy of the studio time with him.
The run doesn’t get a lot of criticism. Way more praise than criticism.

Agree with everything except the Primo part. Primo fell off in the early 00s although the single they put out earlier this year was dope.

Nah, you're right.

I've said the same on here mad times. Primo ain't Primo of the past anymore. But I'd take a washed Primo over a Hit-Boy-anything any day of the week. I didn't even like the "single" Preme dropped with Nas. I've. been wild critical of Preme's quality over the past few years. But from what I've heard so far from the project, it's still Nas's best work in a minute. Even with Primo not working at the level we're used to from him.

KD2, KD3, Magic are all special to me

Magic 3 was really good

Magic 2 was bad, KD1 was good for what it was

I know some of the biggest Nas haters that came around on him because of this series. Some hated it too. I'm not gonna spend to much time tryna convince anyone what I hear with my ears.
