Mafukkas was really crashing out over Hitboy.

I posted about not liking KD series and mafukkas was acting like I punt kicked a baby into oncoming traffic.

The 1 dude on here who thinks he is Nas' child harassed me all day. I had to put dude on ignore.
Mind you, I always posted positive shyt about Nas music.
But just because I didn't like those albums mafukkas became angry bytches.

I hate Nas was flowing like that over some mediocre beats. They have zero soul to them. Ole serviceable beat ass producer

If there's one thing that never changes, it's people rewriting narratives.

Everyone was looking at Nas in a weird way after Nasir and The Lost Tapes II. King's Disease was like a breath of fresh air and it was universally praised alongside KD2 and Magic. You could literally hear Nas and Hit-Boy build up their relationship and chemistry with each album. I didn't start seeing notable criticism about their work until KD3, which is the best album of the series.

I'll say this: To me, KD3 was the grand finale. They could have stopped there if they wanted, and it's obvious that Magic 2 was done quickly but there are still great songs on it ("Office Hours," "Motion," the last three songs). Magic 3 was a great way to end it and I think it will be more appreciated in the years to come. I see it more as an epilogue/victory lap than the grand finale.

Depending on how people feel about the Premier album, Hit-Boy will end up getting more praise and the narrative will change again, or he'll get tomatoes thrown at him because Premier was somehow able to put together a better project than KD3 or Magic 3. I don't see that happening, personally, but it could be somewhere in that KD2/Magic 1 range.

The only weak shyt to me is the 2 and 3 magic tapes. Everything else is fantastic

Seems a few have similar view. Magic 2 and 3 were solid (the latter having some great songs) but I don’t really go back to either bar a few songs. I think for me at least there was element of overkill. Both came out pretty quickly without really having a reason to come out other than to complete two trilogies.

KD1/ KD2/ KD3/ Magic all 4 mics or above which still ridiculous considering those 4 came out in what a space of 2 and a half years? If not less
