- The old movies being reduced to fictional lore is just silly
- Camera work is straight . 2 much green screen, garbage settings
- Came off as some knock off Saw at times

Watched this on Showtime last night. Never read the books or saw the Chevy Chase movie. Pretty light and fun, with Jon Hamm charming his way through scenes. Good supporting cast as well.

Got ridiculous once she gave birth. The baby was nonexistent. Reminds me of Halloween 6 when the baby is left in an airport bathroom overnight but doesn't make a sound. The 4k blu ray of the producer's cut of Halloween 6 looks and sounds great btw.

Genuinely creepy with supernatural elements but still manages to make sense in its own world. I fukk with this.

im a sucker for the mad men cast in just about any project. i gotta see this

Easily the best horror-adjacent movie I’ve watched this year. Colin Stetson is a master at work on the score. The commentary on class and its dark humor made me feel like I was watching the wildest episode of Succession. Highly recommend going in blind on this one as it’ll make the twists and turns that much more worth it.
