Watching E.T.

This doesn’t need to be remade, and if they do a sequel, please don’t have too much Hollywood interference such as Elliot growing up to be gay, or having a trans daughter, or a black wife, or a gay black neighbor, or E.T comes back, and we learn he’s gay, or has a black neighbor with a BLM sign. Just let it be a normal black best friend with a black wife, and the wife is attractive, or Elliot is divorced, or the lead scientist be a straight black man. But the lead scientist will probably be a gay black woman.

Just finished watching Top Gun: Maverick last night. Definitely one of the top 10 sequels of all time :salute: Don't know why conservatives was acting like this was some right-wing movie. It seemed like a throwback to the 90s movie design to me. Nothing political about it :manny:

Just got out of Bones and All. It was so unsettling, beautiful, weird, moving, and disturbing. I'm sure it's an allegory for so many things. I'm still processing it, but I do know it's a gorgeous film with great acting, especially by Taylor Russell, Timothée Chalamet, & Mark Rylance. I think this is in my top 5 for the year. 9/10.

I wanted to watch Bladerunner 2049 but never saw the first one so I loaded it up. Man, I've never fallen asleep during a movie so fast. After 40 minutes I was out.

So slow and tedious. All the dark environments contrasted with blue lights, ugh. Technical movies still need something in it, this is a procedural but it moves so slow.
