Yeah but I don’t give a shyt about memories of murder. This shyt sounds exactly what I need to watch when I’m not reading or getting my politics fix of writing. So you and @TheGodling suggesting it will go a long way and I salute you both for it lol

Hype up Zodiac all the time but have no interest in the movie that did it better and was first brehs.

See thats why I didn't watch it:russ: you gotta sell shyt better. You can't shyt on something someone loves then tell them to watch this other thing cause it's better. It don't work like that. Try it this way:

Hey, you know that thing you love? I think you'd love this other thing too that's very similar and inspired the thing you love.

You catch a lot more flies with honey breh. A lot more. Trying to tell me to watch this other thing in order to cancel out something near and dear to me isn't going to get it done. And probably won't get it done with most cats around here:manny:

So like I said, sounds like you got a flick to nominate.

I'm not going to nominate something that obvious. Everyone who has seen seen it acknowledges its greatness.

I guarantee you there are lot of cats on the board who don't know about it or if they've watched it, they haven't watched it in forever. Not everyone here traffics in IMDB ratings. shyt, I know I don't. So I'm just saying if its a movie you love and you're passionate about, nominate it. shyt, @BXKingPin82 nominated Toxic Avenger. Why not nominate that?

If you search memories of murder on this forum 166 results come up.

It's definitely not comparable.

This small subforum loves foreign flicks breh.

I may still nominate it in the future.

But fukk y'all for denying Minority Report

Then nominate it lol.

And I told you if you sold minority report better I guarantee it would’ve gotten a few more votes. I promise you. Remind people why it’s dope why it’s important and why they should rewatch it. They’d hop on the ride with you

It's Spielberg and Cruise still in their primes. If someone needs more urging to watch it than that they shouldn't be in this subforum

:russ: I agree but you gotta take the same angle people take on the canon. They don't just nominate movies and say "yup you should watch it because its this and I shouldn't have to convince you" They actually give arguments and convince people one way or the other. When Matt Gourley nominated Casino Royale, his only reason wasn't because its James Bond and Daniel Craig, two things I know he loves. He had arguments for and had bullet points and things he feels like are special for the movie. Even when someone came on to nominate Minority Report, they didn't take that angle.

I'm with you but yeah people don't work like that.

good flick. You can see the influence this kind of film had on US movies in the 70's. The French & art :wow:

My favorite is in part 1 every time an animal was on screen "CGI" appeared on the bottom left of the screen :dead:
At first I thought they only did it for the bull fight because the cow is sacred and whatnot but then they did it for the snake and other shyt too.

My favorite parts of the first movie have to be the entire opening. I can't believe you call it campy because everything about it feels so strong. Like from the opening moment with the baby being held above water, moving the statue of Shiva and climbing the mountain it feels like a true legend.

My other favorite part has to be:

the decapitation of the king's son. The brutality of that shyt came out of nowhere! :russ:

My favorite part of the second part has to be the entire end fight. If @MartyMcFly needs anymore reason to watch this ASAP, it's because that fight explains everything about why Indians love professional wrestling. It's a nigh perfect pro wrestling main event, made only more hilarious by the fact the bad guy looks like an Indian Seth Rollins.
