The newly digitally restored version that thankfully a couple theaters over here picked up so I got to see it on the big screen. Probably as close to a perfect movie as a movie can get. Minimalist but incredibly sharp dialogue, characters so muddled in their motives that each of their actions is a sight to behold, the close-ups, the music (of course), a barrage of brilliantly orchestrated scenes, one after the other, each one as much of a classic as the one before or after it. Just so goddamn fukking beautiful.
