How was the movie overall ?

I love me some Scott Adkins but I'm kinda tired of this 'professional fighter kills someone in the ring, seeks redemption fighting for pennies in far away Asia' shtick so many B-movies employ. Add that the whole 'being hunted in the woods' thing has been completely overdone lately as well (even if the OG one pioneered it for action flicks) and it's just too many B-movie tropes here and not enough fun. The closest thing the movie gets to capturing some of the original's lovable goofiness is when Scott Adkins runs into some elephants with personalities (animals with personalities are always awesome), but too much of the movie plays way too serious which just makes all the sloppy action stand out more (not in a good way, mind you). True B-movie fare.
