Honestly, even though the film on the whole isn't great, the editing/shooting style of the movie is genius. It's what happens when an auteur gets to do what he wants with a superhero film.

One of my favorite movies this year.
I'm not sure if I can call it a good movie because it was a little dry and one of the three main plots felt wholly unnecessary but Ian McKellen killed it. Easily the best performance of the year so far, and a good chance it still will be by year's end. I can barely find the words to describe how insanely good he was, so I'll just leave it that in some scenes the mannerisms and the movements and the way he formed sentences reminded me of my 93 year old grandfather who passed away last year (who was also dealing with on-setting senility). Almost scary how accurate it was.
to quote one of my favorite comedians, "Vampire's aren't gay, they just sling dikk! They fukk women, they fukk guys, they fukk dogs, they don't give a fukk!" I love interview with the vampire tho, i thought it was a really dope flick. Kirsten Dunst kilt it
I never noticed all the homosexual overtones in this flick, and ive heard in the book that louis changes into a woman to be with lestat, anyway the homo overtones didnt bother me, still a dope vampire flick
