High grade cinematic piff :wow: One of the greatest pieces of media ever made. Firing on all cylinders. Whole ensemble cast is on point, the cinematography is excellent (the Christmas portion especially), one of the more layered villains I've seen in anything (Bishop Vergerus), it's equal parts funny as hell and emotionally moving. It's much more lively than most arthouse movies so don't go into it thinking it will be boring or pretentious. Watch the 5 hour tv version, you won't regret it. Easy 10/10

'Schindler's List' was up on Netflix so we watched that over the weekend. I hadn't seen it in forever, brehs it's such a fukking classic movie. The acting, production design and cinematography are unbelievable. This was also prime Spielberg just in his bag fully. It's obviously sad at points and tough to watch but Spielberg made it as close to realism as you can get about such a fukked up time.

Yeah, its not as hard to watch as some make it out to be. Spielberg's unique style is applied in ways that keep the movie moving and not dwell too much on the darkest themes even tho they are so prevalent. The direction is top tier.

Might be his best work.

Watched it on Prime Video. Maybe because I knew what to expect, but I felt the oddball sense of humor worked better in the sequel. With the action being stronger in the original film. Still is over the top, but fun to watch.

Finally got around to seeing this, many years after seeing the South Park Asspen episode and It’s Always Sunny’s The Gang Hits The Slopes

It’s an absurdist comedy. Wild and random, with bizarre characters, such as the actor who plays Chosen in Cobra Kai/Karate Kid 2 as a Howard Cosell impersonator.

I liked it a lot, it’s a fun movie.

Liam Nesson gets a black girlfriend while dealing with CTE. Gangsters don't get severance pay. They drive Gran Turinos though. Good date movie 8/10
