2001: A Space Odyssey

I don't hold it exactly in the high regard that others do but it's a fascinating spectacle to watch + both visually & narratively daring.

Watched on Hulu. Had been in my queue to watch for a while, left the service, then recently returned, so took it as a sign to watch. Very weird and quirky, with its depiction of alien life. Reading about its British roots after watching made sense, with some of the humor. I did like some of its uniqueness and the stumbling from one adventure to the next.

Might be Scorsese’s most underrated movie.

Anyways, aside from that, can't believe the director remade their own movie from 2012 lol. Never saw the original so can't compare but this was light. Main characters (especially Hayden's) on sum straight bull at times.
