Breh, did you ever get into "Versailles"?

Nah, passed on it. If it ain't Musketeers I'm not really interested in that era of France.

I finally got into "The Musketeers" in the last month. I'm on the 7th episode of season 1. Do you know how the king in "The Musketeers" is related to the king in "Versailles" & the king during the French Revolution?

He pulled out $20 and said you got change for a 20, he wasn't going to give him nothing!

Why this dude even leave Spain?

There is nothing alarming about the prequel other than the porn star don't want to be a porn star, but what else is new, arm twisting was happening alot in those days.
If Gal hadn’t left Spain for the job, it would’ve made it that much easier for Teddy to pick up on what really happened with Don.

Gal not accepting that job and Don Logan, a mf who clearly would not take no for an answer, suddenly vanishing off of God’s green Earth? That raises a bunch of red flags if I’m Teddy. By that point, Gal had to take the job and front as if he had no idea what happened to Don out of protection for his wife and himself.

Luckily Teddy didn’t give that much a shyt about Don in the end. :dead:

Watched on Peacock. Very solid action flick that improves the action over the course of the film, ending with 2 big showdowns. Some ridiculous spots, but also a couple of comedic ones. Donnie Yen is great as usual and I liked the actor who played the main villain.
Still haven't gotten around to watching it, looks dope tho, the director produced some bangers tho. New police story is highly underrated, it was like Jackie Chan's version of Die Hard 3

Watched last night. Shyt started decent but soon transformed to entertaining as you went on. Great acting. Funny and smart. A unique storyline esp for black characters which was great to see bc it didn't stick with the typical slavery/ gangster shtick. Felt like it was somewhat inspired by Insecure (troupes galore). Good watch.

First two episodes have extreme :dame: warning because of unwanted white male penis, and gayness abounds.

But there is a thread...

Anyone watching Dark City: The Cleaner? It's a New Zealand based show that's entertaining so far. After some EXTREMELY cringe moments in the 1st & 2nd episode (you'll know when you get to it) :heh:

"By day, Joe is a cleaner at the police station. But by night, he has another line of work - he's a serial killer who's been dubbed The Christchurch Carver. When another woman is murdered, the police suspect The Carver, but Joe knows it wasn't him."

I'm 3 episodes in & this show might deserve it's own thread just for the fukery. My advice is just to go in blind & start watching which is what I did

A bunch of unwashed shoot at each other for reasons they don't tell you about until 75 minutes in the movie. 6/10

Franklin got the ending he deserved. I was spoiled a bit that he would end up a drunk but I was always a few seasons behind so to see his downfall was a bummer, it was realistic when money is your only thing that's keeping you driven. He was a monster and a devil but everyone involved played their part. Honestly surprised only two of the main cast were killed off.

Really enjoyed the ride, great series. Damson showed out in those final episodes. Don't ever compare it to The Wire though, don't do that.
