Interesting thriller with great camera shots that suffers from a bad script and horrible acting. 6/10

Orlando Bloom stars in this Appalachian thriller inspired by Godfather, Yellowstone et al. Andie MacDowell plays the villian who is as trecherous as she ever was and still is seductive. Through impatience, misunderstandings, and yt folk being yt folks, a rough business relationship turns into a blood feud. If you go to a restaurant and order steak and fries and they give you steak and fries, you can't be mad. 8/10

Generic looking cartoon with a graphical style that doesn't exactly wow you at the first. Weirdo, Defacto know it all Aliens just up and start doing shyt while highlighting the inevitable rocky friendship between an outcast Alien and a plucky latchykey kid that goes from mistrust, to begrudging friendship, to endearment, to betrayal and then the inevitable redemption. It's linear, but it's also made for Kids. Turn off your brain and watch it with a wee one and enjoy like I did.
Also features Rihanna.

Holy shyt, was this movie mediocre. Hot shot chef, loses it all, goes out and destroys himself. Waltzes back into the town he lost it all from like the boogeyman with the sole goal of achieving his ultimate goal which is a 3 star Michellein rating. Fights through the industry and people he once held as family and friends but burnt (Get it?) along the way due to his hotshot lifestyle of drugs, sex and being a Prima Donna.
Just like that Assasin movie with Michael Fassbender, in which he tediously narrates all his plans for being the best while fukking up MAJORLY, and finds himself fukking up majorly by HIS OWN HANDS...this movie wants you to believe that this cat was really THAT dude and we never really see him doing that shyt. We see him irritating everyone, being abusive, being narcassitic, dealing with his previous debts, both emotional and physical while the vehicle, that is the movie pushes towards the end and you decide whether you like him enough or at the very least, understand why he's the way he is, as he gets his 'shyt' together.
Without ruining anything, there's a particular spot in the movie that had me howling. I won't ruin it, but just know that he did it....

Enjoyed it for the most part but the teacher shouldn't have made it past the fight with Koba.

Finally got around to watching this tonight. I think going in to it, I was more hype to watch it. I thought it was solid, but I should have tempered my expectations on this one. One thing I'm certain of is that Jamie Lee Curtis wasn't even the best supporting actress in this movie, let alone better than Angela Bassett in Wakanda Forever. That was some straight bullshyt on that win. The daughter in this movie as a supporting actress was better in pretty much every scene than Jamie was in all of hers.

Such a grimy giallo. The type of flick that would be shelved in the back of the sketchy video store by-day and porno shop by-night. A killer who sounds so silly over the phone until you see how brutal them kills are. Does not cut any corners at portraying New York City in a dirty light, and for that, I love it.

So here's a movie I never watched. Was pretty over the Jew Apatow flicks by then. Sandler was a big turnoff around then too. But people said it was good, peeps on this forum even vouched for it. I gave it watch finally.

So this movie takes a monumental nose dive like halfway through when Sandler is no longer sick and tries to get back with his wife. And that shyt dragged on for almost an hour. Rogen's character just kind of stands around that entire time. The scenes that had some depth were between Seth and Sandler as they got to know eachother but got torpedoed.

This movie could have worked but the writing is so horrendous that half way through, it died like a dog, as trump would say. :dead:

Wasn't nothing funny about this movie.
Like at all.
The fact that they had to put in Judd's other two "acclaimed" works to convince people to watch it is a testament to that shyt.
Also, I'm solidly convinced Apatow has a cuck fetish watching his wife play the always embittered wife to some other schmuck in him constantly casting her in shyt up to this point.
I mean he's a director and she's an actress of some sort, but still.
This should could have done with a Rob Schnider or Steve Buscemi playing some weirdo character to save this shyt.
Watched it once and I sent that shyt spinning into the neighbour's yard since it was a high quality bootleg I got for free.

Yeah I think I agree about dudes wife. She's just not funny either and has looked like 10yrs older in every movie than she's supposed to be.

But yeah this movie was wack.

It was wack on a weird level.
Not even the Sandler stans could justify liking the shyts.
Anyone trying to pass it off as Sandler being in a "serious" role was lying directly out they colon, the whole movie was a bad bait and switch with a nuetered Rogen not even being his normal partially funny, 21st century jew self.
The only trade off I see about hopefully growing old and potentially getting Alzheimers is for me to forget this shyt existed.
