Cool concept, would have liked a different execution. Some funny moments, but thought the deadpan delivery could have used more shades or at least a character to shake up the energy of the film.

5/10. Wasn't bad, but just kind of there. Came off more like a movie you'd get on streaming than a theatrical release. Wait for streaming on this.

Linklater just knows how to capture young adolescence and it's always a chill moment captured. I never wanted this to end.
A pg13 version of an 80s movie, to me dazed and confused had more intrigue. Still if you've never seen it.

As troubling as this was to get through, I think it’s good that this series makes people uncomfortable. It being something that really happened (along with some obvious theatrical changes) makes it stand out from other fictional horror movie or series. The entire cast was great.

EDIT: Had the poster for Infinity War up for a week :skip:

The American actors of the movie don't fit. Guy Richie is 0 for 2 trying to cater to American audiences

Run Thru U Like Skattebo

halfaouine (1990) 95 minutes
i was surprised you could make something like this in a muslim country. it's a tunisian coming of age story about a boy, his family, and a few people in the neighborhood. there is a little bit of politics, titties, cultural things that i dont understand as a non tunisian, and some universal lessons as well. it's competently made. the kino lorber transfer is very high quality. the disc comes with a short film set in the same country.

Michelle Rodriguez has to be the biggest fukkup. bytch was getting chewed on all through the movie.

The first one was so much better. I used to think the opposite. Alice was terrible this time around. The graveyard scene made absolutely no sense.

NSFW

boring and unfunny comedy. maybe it's unfunny because it's dated. satirizes the middle class. robert beltran is by far, the best actor in this thing. two of the stars are in 'night of the comet' which is a far better movie...

i watched the criterion blu ray. great quality, nice extras which include a short film, commentary, and interviews with two of the stars.
