This was ultimately good but admittedly got a bit ridiculous in the end with the dramatics

This cac broad really took breh to court to fight for custody of a child she abandoned for EIGHT YEARS

Common sense prevails and he gets full custody, but then she turns around and asks for a paternity test...surprise...the kid aint his and she gets custody by default

He and the daughter say fukk that and run off back to France only for the movie to reveal that the life-threatening diagnois wasnt for Omar Sy being a stuntman....it was for the daughter. Who dies off screen

The movie handles all of this as nicely as possible but even you take a second to think about it, it's absolutely absurd

as for the movie...it was solid but had the potential to be stronger & more poignant but the ending was great in showing that trauma never goes away especially this kind where there'll unfortunately always be constant reminders.

The silliness is jarring after how gritty and disturbing the first one was, but I finally came to enjoy it midway after embracing its whackiness. For a horror sequel, it’s pretty fun…and so 80s.
