also, I see you keep saying by "punishment" you mean a fine and not jail. who determines what the fine is? who determines what "minimum" is? and what happens if I don't pay the fine? what happens if I keep burning the flag and keep getting fines? do they just pile up? what if I can't afford the fine? slippery slope. when someone parks "illegally" they get a ticket...and if they don't pay it or keep getting them, eventually a warrant is issued...which means JAIL.

My argument is it doesn't nothing in the long run. Like I said, our fight should be for prison reform, fighting income inequality, stopping the war on drugs, ridding institutional racism, and getting Black folk better life in neighborhoods/grants to start businesses. See, the end result should be an agenda. Flag burning in my opinion is just time wasting.The flag represents that oppression, which is why we should burn it.
