What change do you think you will invoke from a govt that's run by cartels and fraternity ?
They have a formula that I believe wants as many non whites dead or in prison slavery...

We have to defeat that system by establishing a coalition and running grassroot campaigns for local and state office. I think we should have people that work in the system (that's for the common man) and outsiders. Keeping things the same in a failed state isn't progress in my opinion.

Anyway, do you guys think ALL prisons should be ABOLISHED? In my opinion, I'm AGAINST abolishing prisons and I'll tell you why I was researching the prison abolitionist movement last night and they were dancing around what do we do with our murderers and pedos I'm for prison reform. Which means, we move into a prison model like Scandinavia. Listen, their recidivism rate is 20% which means their model works Doing 25 to life or natural life for drug crimes is stupid. Listen, the war on drugs have HURT Black people the most. I'll be doing my best to be an advocate for prison reform. Also, private prisons make money off of prison labor and corps Our goal needs to be helping our society. Plus sending people to prison for being a drug fiend is NOT rehabilitation. We need to decriminalize Marijuanna federally and NOT have brehs serving time in prison for it Yeah, there's case in which that's happened. GIT RID OF THE NEO-LIBERAL & NEO-CONSERVATIVE polices and establish real change.

Thieves can be reformed and even some violent offenders. The goal is to provide them jobs and rehabilitate them. So, they won't go back into the prison system.

The problem with implementing that kind of model in the US is that Scandinavia has a highly homogeneous population. I don't think people talk about this enough but due to race being such an issue in the US people aren't going to empathize enough to change the system unless it affects them or someone who looks like them. Look at how some white people deny racism exists and their privilege. The reason we have a punishment system instead of a rehabilitative system is because the justice system in the US was born to incarcerate African Americans in high concentrations. It all boils down to racism.

I hate when people bring up homogenous societies as the end all be all. If you live in a society where the people are EDUCATED then they will have an increased emotional intelligence and therefore become more emphatic to others.

Same way Americans try to cop pleas about universal healthcare not being possible in America due it not being a homogenous society - the UK isn't a homogenous society and yet there is universal healthcare. All you need is a well-educated public.
