I burned 2200 calories on workouts today. In the wrong zone. Calories in/calories out. It does matter what your body burns. Whether it's carbs, fat or protein.

one of the primary catalysts for me was the media I was taking in. From podcasts, to books, to articles...I was subjected to a consistent stream of info making it plainly clear that if you don't make much money and don't eat healthy (i didnt for both) you're projected to die several decades earlier than everyone else . Emphasis on healthy diets and lifestyles....

Then there's the corporate imposed "culture" of constant over consumption. Where consuming is the ultimate act of human agency and success... even beyond food... jus buying all kinds of shyt we don't need because its available and we have the money... excess low brow media etc etc... i had to deliberately instill in myself the concept of consuming less. And it's continual process as we're always encouraged to consume more through every medium we encounter. Thats a destructive psychology ...its a basis for poor health among other things

It really is, with the shyt I'm currently going through i really am envious of the healthy. But sometimes shyt blindsides you. And hopefully you have the mental strength to come through the other side with a stronger outlook on life

It was windier than a bytch. I didn't think to grab a windsock for my camera, just wanted to get out there. Mental clarity on 10

Made this thread in January and we are entering April.

Big props to anyone sticking to their diet and training so far.

If you haven’t started or fell off, no worries.
Today is a good day to begin.

That is still better than 90% of American Adults :ld:
Imma keep going, but damnit I need to kill this pot belly that snuck up on me 6 months ago. I already decreased my calorie intake to 2 meals a day but so far it's not budging. I used to be so lean and muscular, but now im officially :flabbynsick:. The base physique is still there, but shedding the fat in the midsection is proving to be a nightmare. This shyt used to be so easy back then :mjcry:

Cut down on carbs and sugars, and take protein shakes regularly.
