It's over. If this doesn't get him, we're finished because Trump is nothing. The bad actor that realizes he can be the first dictator, is going to be smart. The next guy is gonna be worse than Hitler. Nukes will cause everyone to ignore us. :wow:

Breh they about to attack Iran to get everyone mind off this shyt

The hearing will be of no consequence, but the real problem is that the Democrats don't get enough votes and as such don't have enough power to do much of anything.
The Democrats are in control of the House! They can start impeachment proceeding right now if they wanted. The real problem is they don't actually want to because they're perpetually afraid of actually using power. They've perpetually frozen in a fearful posture.

The Nadler and Lieu line of questioning mean nothing and will have absolutely no consequence. Some of y'all are still begging for a smoking gun or gotcha moment like this is Columbo when in reality Mueller is up here stuttering like a geriatric geezer. The problem is Democrats are terrified of wielding power and are habitually incapable of nutting up. Otherwise, they'd be impeaching him for the myriad of crimes and disgraceful actions he's taken as President, not this ridiculous Russian spy thriller shyt. The window for that shyt has closed. Republicans are winning this hearing because Democrats yet again try to offload the responsibilities of power and governance to a Republican (Mueller). Pathetic.

fukk outta here slovenian CAC, you gettin blocked.

Impeachment is DOA as long as Republicans have the Senate. The GOP would automatically exonerate Trump.

No he did that to show people that Meuller worked and was loved by Republicans before Trump bullshyt. He is legit
I know but Mueller's been struggling answering simple questions for 3 hours. He doesn't know if Reagan, Bush or Woodrow Wilson hired him as AG

The only point of impeachment isn't to extract Trump from office, it's also to show people that Democrats are worth a shyt. You do it because it's the right thing to do and shows people you're on the side of morality and justice, and you're willing to fight. Public opinion can follow bold, courageous displays of power, so the byproduct of this can also increase Democratic power. It's both tactical and moral. This cynical approach is self-defeating.

The election of Trump pretty much disproves the idea that American voters care about that :mjlol:

You can make a moral argument that it's the right thing to do, but I have serious doubts that it would hurt Trump politically.

This is ultimately where he failed and fell short of his own standard of honor IMO.

As you said, a fukking memo IS NOT LAW. So by going against that memo, he would have had to make a judgement call himself and he was too cowardly to take that step. But he would not have violated any form of ethics or conduct by doing so. With the added bonus of ending this catastrophe of an American nightmare.

I could even partially give him a pass if his decisions were 100% guided "by the book", but in this case it wasn't. It was his own security.
Who would indict him? The DOJ wouldn’t based on the memo and Barr wouldn’t.
