Biden is the only one that can beat trump. Anybody else takes primary and too many folks stay home. Repeat of 2016. Trump earns no new voters but even less folk come out to vote. Biden is a link to Obama. A link to a saner time in poltics regardless of how the Coli feels about the dude there is no denying this. People are yearning for that.

Biden/Beto or just hand it over because it'll be close but no cigar again. You want someone that's left to mid. A far left candidate will not get support on election day. They'll get plenty on social media since folks love to like whore. But they'll find an excuse to stay home when it counts. Independents vote! A smart person understands you'd better appeal to them or else.
TheColi is only a small segment of voter mentality. We get so hung up on details we start thinking the world at large is hung up on them too.

My good man, you can't be serious. Dems have lost a historically large number of seats throughout the country. It would be a national embarrassment if the party as a collective actually had any shame (which they clearly don't). They lost nearly a thousand state legislators seats under Obama's terms in office and close to a hundred house seats.
The ONLY reason they even took back the house is because they lost the presidency to the worst candidate humanly possible in Donald Trump when they trotted out the poster child of the type of candidate progressives loathe in HRC. You think the Blue Wave was spearheaded by a thirst for Biden-esque candidates?
I remember making this analogy before, but establishment Dems giving advice or direction on which way the party should be headed in order tp win elections and improve the lives of most Americans would be like Glass Joe telling Cus D'Amato or Angelo Dundee to go sit down somewhere cuz he has everything covered.

If every registered Democrat hit the polls in November the Republicans would never win another election. We could trot out Deputy Dog in a grass skirt and we'd still sweep the electoral map. The numbers are there. But a large portion of the folks like the idea of voting and that's where it stops.
Unfortunately we aren't living in a perfect world. Gotta play smart.
