Going back to the House hearing earlier in the week, the Democrats need to avoid bringing in people like John Dean (who I liked), Barbara McQuade and Joyce Vance. They all have made too many public/social media comments about Trump or the case. Makes it too easy for Republicans to paint them as biased.

Republicans in the House don't have much of a leg to stand on, they will be even weaker if Dems deny them the chance to lob ad hominem attacks.

He's basically admitting collusion is ok. And he would collude if he gets the chance but he did not collude in 2016 election.

What a guy!
He's admitted that they colluded, but he wants to call it oppo research. He also admitting to obstructing because he thought his some was going to get locked up.
