Hold the investigations, proceedings, let the country see and hear for themselves what he was up to and then let the Senate deal with trying to clean it up enough to not remove him and run campaigns in 2020........

Impeachment will not suddenly drop Trump's approval rating significantly like it did Nixon. He's set the bar so high for himself due to easily surviving scandal after scandal that most others would not have survived, that he would have to have done something major to be seriously damaged. The American people know how every Senator will vote. Putting it on record is not going to change anything.

This isn't holding anyone accountable when there are zero consequences for the person you're trying to hold accountable.

The Dems have passed a ton of legislation in the house though while trying to investigate Trump, and McConnell blocks everything in the senate so nothing gets accomplished. I just think it's not a correct line of thinking. We're letting Republicans control the narrative.
