But my is point you're a perfect example of the negative side effects of black people using the word nikka so much, it becomes an identity of being black, so now we have people that aren't even black or pseudo black like yourself saying it to try and be black and down that actually isn't a big deal but the the problem is that being a nikka doesn't denote high academic achievment and being a good citizen, so by defining being black as using the word nikka and being a nikka it becomes detrimental to building a strong prosperous black community

Tupac and Jay-z and others tried and are trying to make nikka a positive word but it's not working, nikka still means ******, that effort to sanitize nikka is a failure, and the widespread use of nikka is a detrimental to black culture

Well the problem with that is that you have been saying nikka on sohh and Coli for years, not just in this thread so my point still stands, and it's not just you I'm talking about is culture in general, there are literally millions of people going around saying nikka just to prove how black they are and to be down, you actually remind me of these rich cousins that's have who say nikka on Facebook all the time in their pics is all white kids, so they just say nikka to prove how black they they certainly didn't get from their parents or white friends

And IMO that isnt where we need to be going or leading people, we need to be have high academics and good citE ship be the identifying markers of being black instead of racial slurs nonchalantly being the marker

I think they should reform Affirmative Action away from hiring and focus solely on Education. Education for Blacks and Native Americans should be free for a couple of generations. Books, tuition, living costs, everything, 100% free. Knock down any barriers to education and then you will see people start to move up the economic/social ladder. Too many people have their hands in the Affirmative action cookie jar, there is absolutely no reason white & asian women should be given so much of the pie.

lol...yeah, that was pathetic. I confronted him about saying that the 55% of black people in America who live in the south were all c00ns, and posting a pic of an unlabeled non-melanated arm to supposedly prove he was black, and he was all hesitant and backing down and trying to change the subject talking about "Uh, uh...well, I've been to Atlanta before...hey did you guys see that hockey game?"

I don't necessarily agree with everything he says but alot of the posturing against Don Lemon sounds like an attitude that puts the ball in white peoples court. Since they're in a greater position to reform laws and policies that directly affect African Americans then why would we have any incentive rally together for some sort of change? It's a failure to critique our own culture that makes us complacent, waiting. Waiting on the white man to change drug laws, waiting on the white man to stop building private prisons, etc. Black people we need to take a honest look at where we'e failing to make an effort and that starts with raising some serious question on the what we value the most.
