Everyone was in shape

Wow. Probably lines up exactly with the rise of solo indoor activities aka internet/social media/gaming ——> loneliness.

Seeng artists actually perform is dope. Now they just do walk thrus.

The greatest ‘concert’ I ever went to wasn’t a concert it was an appearance. At Club Love in DC, when American gangster dropped. Jay z performed the whole album :lupe:

This is post Beyonce jay z, corporate jay. And he performed. 2007 so I think that’s about when things shifted

There was a table of wild ass nggas it almost looked like they was antagonizing jay, looked like they could get kicked out. Jay turned to them n said ‘dope boys go crazy when they hear the boy jay z ‘.:gladbron: :damn::sadbron: :banderas:Everybody lost it.

shyt will never be the same. And them tickets was like $50

Thank you! DJ today are trash.
Them nikkas don’t do shyt but hit the arrow or space bar key on their laptops from playlists they crafted during the week and not on the spot. Clubbing (especially hip hop) overseas >>>> domestic. I remember partying at a spot in Cape in 2018 that had a Bad Boy v. Death row night. shyt took me back to my youth.

The downfall was bottle service-tables replacing the dance floors then cellphones, social media, and depressing trap music killed off the fun completely. A few spots restore the feeling here and there but the club shyt is mostly dead
Yeah DJ R-Tistic made a post about this exact thing last year. I showed serveral djs this tweet in the area I know and they all 100% agreed with it.

Man, woman, and child
Everybody blaming cellphones and VIP sections. But the real downfall started when clubs started having dress codes. We used to be able to wear damn near anything in the club. Even sweat pants

Nothing beat grinding up against a chick and she feel that hard on thru the sweat pants. If she was feeling you she’d look back like
:youngsabo:

And then start grinding harder :ohlawd:

Precious memories of screaming the lyrics to No Limit Soldier at Club 559 in the swats.

Precious memories of seeing grown men sob as Mystikal performed at The Gate in Decatur the night 2pac died.

Seeing Uncle Luke lick on dancer p*ssy on stage shortly after Scarred came out at some hole in the wall ghetto ass club.

Seeing 8ball and MJG perform "for Real" a couple months before On Top of the World dropped.

Throwing bo's to "Time to check my crackhouse"

Grabbing a white hoes big ass titties on the dance floor slow dancing to Kilo's "Love in your mouth"

Precious memories. :mjcry:

I bet they were easy to talk to

Much. Wasn't no crazy VIP culture neither. If you was in the VIP you could STILL be a lame and girls knew that. People actually DANCED WITH ONE ANOTHER. And yeah, it wasn't shyt to talk to a girl in the club, get her a drink, get her number. Clockwork.

Everyone was in shape

No social media and everyone was outside either walking , catching Metro to visit everyone , out at malls, just enjoying the outside lifestyle

These days the streets are empty and majority of motherfukkers are at home trying to upload they pics while eating door dash and drinking soda

Reminds me of this techno club in Waukegan that I used to go PAWG hunting in occasionally

my youth was the 90’s :wow: , you use to HAVE to approach women to get p*ssy unless you were really handsome gang. Now cold approaching is “weird” :mjlol:
I’m still trying to figure out how these young nikkas get girls

I used to get at bytches with both of us driving down the street and wave them to the closest parking lot if I had to

These young nikkas don’t understand
