I hate to be that guy, but it just was an overall simpler time. In general people took themselves less seriously and just wanted to have fun. I remember I often didn't even drink because I was so thirsty for water from all the dancing. Vibes were really something else. shyt I regret not going out much more. But yeah, some places you can still find these kinds of atmospheres. Need to avoid the too cool for school/mainstream crowd.

I remember going to Excalibur in Chicago. The top half of the club stayed open until 4-5am. It was wild driving home, smelling up the car with smokey clothes, as the sun started to rise. The public indoor smoking would throw young folks off today.

yeah…I think they switched it up to nagasaki or that was always the official name but folks called it jamrock…can’t remember…but yeah you definitely know the spot I’m talking about

Yeah I remember back in 99 or 2000 they had a teen night and my dad wouldn’t let me go
