You're really comparing "I heard a noise, it was dark and I couldn't see anything" to "I saw him clearly in daylight, told him to put his hands up, and then he reached into his waist and pulled out something that looked like a gun"?

And in this case, the 'something' that he pulled out wasn't his wallet, or some drugs he was trying to get rid of, or some other shyt that doesn't resemble a gun.....but rather something that ACTUALLY looked like a real gun......

There's a HUGE difference between waiting to see if a strange noise in the dark is actually someone who's about to shoot you.....and waiting to see if somebody in front of you in broad daylight, who reached in his waist and pulled out something that looks like a gun, is actually someone who's about to shoot you

I don't see anyone saying the boy deserved to die. The boy appeared to be a threat because he reached in his waist to grab what appeared to be a weapon and therefore the cop was justified in defending himself.

In every part of the planet reaching for what appears to be a gun when confronted is an act of aggression. What planet do you live on where it isn't? No matter how much people want to hate the cops they still have a job to do.

So if someone look like they reaching for something they deserve to be gun down. .. yeah okay

They've created a leg to stand on: the inherent criminality and violence of the black man. Notice how Fox and right wing media always harp on this idea, and straight up stereotype black men as angry or having "violence problems." You never hear anyone talk shyt like that about other races. And ultimately that's why every case of police brutality is spun, and the dead black male is blamed for his own murder. In this mentality there are no black victims. If you get killed by a cop YOU likely instigated it, or the cop's accident is understandable "given how violent black men are."

"That poor innocent cop was just trying to do his duty, he didn't mean to kill that black kid but can you blame him, given how violent blacks are?" That's how all these cases go down. They've basically declared open season on blacks.

If you're a white victim of murder, the murderer is white in nearly 90% of cases. Likewise if you're black and a victim of murder, the murderer has a 92% chance of being black. In short people get killed by their own race. Yet some people on the right have decided that the "high" rate of black on black crime means we're prone to violence, nevermind that the rate of white on white crime is pretty fukking high.

Since Black men are so routinely profiled as being thugs, you would think they would be the last group to profile Black women as actually liking thugs.
