I'm not defending the cop per se, I'm sayin in general. If a nikka pulls a banger on you, what are u gonna do
If a KID pulls a gun on me I wouldnt pull my strap out and just shoot the kid. I'm too old for that. I can easily over power him.

There's many ways to handle this than just shooting a damn kid on sight

Was the cop supposed to wait and find out if it was a real gun or not :comeon:
I already shared my story when I was in college I had a bb gun. Cop walked up to me and asked of it was real. I told him no, he asked me to throw it on the ground. I did. He checked it, and gave it back to me.

He was transparent... i was black and a young. I had my hood up too. I looked like a criminal. But he didn't see that. He was responsible I'm lukcy to be here. I just wish that kid could have the same luck.

Even though the dispatcher fukked up by not saying the gun may be fake, why roll up right on a person at close range who you perceive to be holding a real gun? Then before you're even out the car shoot him?
Cop had his mind made up before he even saw the kid.

Where were all the people he was "scaring" the shyt out of? I'm curious.. Extreme parallels to the Walmart bullshyt.. Honest question cause I only chose to watch the 6 minute long video once.. And I didn't see anybody... Seemed to be playing solo

I'm also noticing there's a few persons in here who seem to be suggesting that the cops should have waited to see if the boy would have pointed the gun at them, rather than shoot him just for pulling it from his waist....

Now I'm not gonna pretend to know what it's like to be in that kind of situation.....but common-ass sense tells me that if you hear there's someone with a gun, then you approach that person, you warn them to put their hands up, and the VERY next thing they do after that is reach into their waist and pull out a realistic-looking gun....then there's no way in hell I'm gonna wait until you actually raise that shyt up at me, before I shoot you. :what: I'm in uniform and in a cop car, I tell you to put your hands up, and you're pulling out that shyt? Nah......you gotta go down.....

Again, I'm only speaking as if the cop's version of the story is accurate......as if he did warn the kid. I'm not saying I BELIEVE the shyt.....
Breh. Dude hopped out the car firing. WAtch the fukking video

The shooting came after a man at the park adjacent to the rec center called police when he saw "a guy with a gun pointing it at people."

The caller twice said the gun was "probably fake" and told dispatchers the person pulling the gun from his waistband was "probably a juvenile," according to audio released by police officials late Saturday.

The caller's doubt was never relayed to the responding officers - one in his first year on the force, and the other with at least a decade of experience, Follmer said.

More here http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2014/11/12-year-old_boy_shot_by_clevel.html

:snoop: so many fukk ups here

1. After the Crawford case I'm not sure whether to immediately trust the caller saying the gun was being pointed

2. Was this one large 12 year old? Why didn't the caller specify that the victim was definitely just a kid ?

3. The dispatcher didn't think it was important to let the cops know the caller saying the gun was "probably fake" ?!?!

4. Why did the kid's parents allow him to scrape off the BB gun's orange paint ?
Dude there are bb guns without the orange tip. I have one. They made to look real and feel real for marksman practice

Dude on

Lol dude fired 2 shots, he didn't dump a whole mage. They didn't know the gun was fake. The boy was pointing it at people. Cops used necessary force. It's unfortunate. It really is

the 911 caller specifically said he thinks its a toy gun, and the kid wasn't pointing it at people. why the fukk are you lying in the face of evidence :what:

Man look yall I'm done with this shyt. I'm a walking testament to this shyt

If you just rolled up on a kid like you bout to do a drive by shooting there's no telling how he would react. Hell he probably wanted to take the gun and throw on the ground. The key thing is. These cops were not TRANSPARENT.

My situation, the cop walked calmly to me and asked me politely if the gun was real. He had his hand on his holster just in case. Why couldn't they do the same with this 12 year old kid?

That video looked like a assassination brehs.. it's so sick to watch.

Breh,
People keep making this point, like they're trying to equate themselves to cops on some: "shyt, if they pointed a gun at me I'd shoot too! So the cop can just do the same thing I would do" even though cops get trained to handle stressful situations better than the average nikka. So really what you would do doesn't mean anything because cops are supposed to not act like the inexperienced would.

Cops are supposed to be trained to actually put themselves in dangerous situations and switch things around (aka de-escalating situations). Proof of that is how the cop who shot the kid was the rookie while the other cop didn't even have his gun out.

A lot of men would shoot a baby if they got startled by one with a gun on their hands. Cops are the people supposed to not get startled by a baby in the first place, feel me? They have to train their reaction time to make the best decisions possible because otherwise they may as well just be the average joe fukking up and not paying for their mistakes.

Edit: Typos and spelling.
