First, without footage, we are all projecting our weariness of police treatment on this situation.
Now, don't you dudes ever get tired of running mental laps to defend your position? I know you guys ain't kids, come the fukk on. Did you live sheltered lives? I grew up in the hood where you couldn't run shyt past these little homies. Broken homes are the norm when you living in poverty.
Ever have to be sure to run home, or hide out at a friends house, or get escorted by older kids because other kids from 3rd to 5th grade are threatening to beat you up or kill you because they are cool with another crew and they found out your dad is a vice lord? I did.
You are running a Shameless ass narrative if you hop in here with that bullshyt. Granted, the cops version of the events might be bullshyt, but anyone assuming it is...doesn't really know. A kid pulls a gun, for any fukking reason, you have zero reason to believe he won't use it, especially if you said keep them hands up. Fake gun or not, we didn't see how it all went down. Woe to the nikka rationalizing it would have been ok to take a BB gun outside the home, especially to a place with other kids. Parents would have flipped the fukk out, as they should.

what makes this even more sad is we know the gun wasn't real, and the kid knew the gun wasn't real so he obviously didn't pull it out with sinister intentions. he was probably nervous and didn't know how to react cus the police went from 0 to 100 on him. how you gon look at the kid like he was entirely to blame my nikka? including the fact that we don't even know if he just pulled it out or if he actually pointed it at them which would make no sense.

I honestly think some of you even remember your thought process as a child.First reaction was probably to show them it wasn't real. Natural impulse to reach and show them, like kids do. Just because kids know more, and are exposed to more these days doesn't change the mental maturity. you said the cop was threatened. where was the threat. how many kids have shot a cop? the rook shot but the senior officer didn't, why do rookies have a killing machine on their hip?

To be fair, and this has nothing to do with the conversation at hand, but that cop could have been on of few shot by a 12 year old had the strap been real. The question isn't how many bodies kids have caught of cops, it is since kids are doing dirt, how do you know the little shorty who is reaching won't do you?
Again, cops might be on that bullshyt, but we don't know till footy drops.

this 46yr old man was pointing a rifle at cars as they drove by him on the interstate in KC, MO... he was talked down and shot with a stun gun.
2 of this people know better and they are white...the black child wasn't even given the benefit of the doubt from a grown ass man/cop who should have used better judgement...now he's dead.

As for why a cop has a gun, I'm sure you know the answer to that question.
Or the rookie happened to have a different vantage point. Or the senior officer hesitated. Senior officers were rookies at one point, Breh. At some point these guys get put in no win situations, and it's easier for us to armchair quarterback when we don't have to go out in the field. Again, without footy, we are all projecting.
