So at 12 you didn't know to not reach for anything while an officer has a gun pointed at you.

How long did it take before you learned not to take rides from strangers your 20's?
Right? :heh:
First off you don't know the circumstances as to what happened completely, so why are approving the excuse of these gestapo? And at age 12 children do not have common sense as an adult would.....especially when faced with an raging policeman baring down on them. Nobody in their right mind is going to pull out a BB gun they know is fake(if this even the true story, which I doubt completely) on a ragin devil cop with a real gun....is you serious? :what:

This is the same shyt they've pulled with Michael Brown, saying he charged at a raging cop with a loaded weapon..on what fckin planet does a human being even attempt that unless they are high off of PCP or Angel Dust....:dahell:..you cac sympathizers need to be executed along with these pigs......:camby:
If your uneducated ass read my post before, you would know I stated that we can't give the cops the benefit of the doubt. The reason I called you uneducated??? Because pulling a fake gun out against someone who has a license to kill is not adult logic. That's logic for any 12 year old who doesn't ride on a short bus. ESPECIALLY if you live in the hood.

The shooting came after a man at the park adjacent to the rec center called police when he saw "a guy with a gun pointing it at people."

The caller twice said the gun was "probably fake" and told dispatchers the person pulling the gun from his waistband was "probably a juvenile," according to audio released by police officials late Saturday.

The caller's doubt was never relayed to the responding officers - one in his first year on the force, and the other with at least a decade of experience, Follmer said.

:snoop: so many fukk ups here

1. After the Crawford case I'm not sure whether to immediately trust the caller saying the gun was being pointed

2. Was this one large 12 year old? Why didn't the caller specify that the victim was definitely just a kid ?

3. The dispatcher didn't think it was important to let the cops know the caller saying the gun was "probably fake" ?!?!

4. Why did the kid's parents allow him to scrape off the BB gun's orange paint ?

If the bolded is true....if the dispatcher sent them cops without letting them know it was a possibility that the person was just a kid with a fake gun....then the dispatcher needs to be held accountable. It would have been VERY important to let them know that shyt. Hell, the dispatcher might be the biggest problem in this whole situation....

Now I know there'll be some nikkas who are like "even if they told them pigs that, they'd shoot the black kid anyway :rudy: "......but whether or not you believe that's true is irrelevant in this case, if they weren't actually TOLD. The cops are going in that situation thinking they're definitely dealing with some dangerous person with a gun.....then they see the kid pull out a realistic-looking gun? Recipe for disaster....

:what: Its not human logic breh....which therefore means that this child definitely did not do it.....The cop has no benefit of the doubt. He simply fcked up and they will make sure his azz is saved......

they wouldn't have shot a 12 year old white boy like that, they know it and we know it but they'll just deny deny deny.

deescalation of the situation is their first action for white people/deadly force is the first reaction for blacks:pacspit:

from a distance a BB gun looks just like a real one.

Its sad that he died but you don't interact with it around cops

he was 12 :snoop:

what makes this even more sad is we know the gun wasn't real, and the kid knew the gun wasn't real so he obviously didn't pull it out with sinister intentions. he was probably nervous and didn't know how to react cus the police went from 0 to 100 on him. how you gon look at the kid like he was entirely to blame my nikka? including the fact that we don't even know if he just pulled it out or if he actually pointed it at them which would make no sense.

kids are going to do stupid shyt from time to time, they don't deserve to get shot for it by some stupid fukking amateur ass cop, this kid doesn't get a second chance because some piece of shyt cop overreacted, I also don't even believe this kid put his toy gun in his waistband and pulled it out. Sounds like a bullshyt ass story the cops would come up with to try and justify this shyt

If you don't believe the story that's fine, skepticism is generally the norm at this point.

I get that kids do stupid shyt. But reaching for anything while being confronted by a cop goes beyond stupid and into a whole nother category.

Throwing rocks at abandoned homes windows is stupid.
Stealing beer from the corner store is stupid.
Taking the family car for a joy ride without a license is stupid.
Shooting dogs with bebe guns is stupid.

Kids do stupid shyt.

BUT you not gonna sit here and tell me that the average "kid" things about reaching for anything when the cops say "hands up"

Also you say the cop overreacted. How does one overreact if they think their life is in danger?

Would you react differently?
