I think Jay is better at making albums period. Helps he has way better beat selection, is more versatile too with his flows and concepts. At his peak, his pen game matched Nas' imo with Reasonable Doubt up to the Dynasty and even elements of The Black Album showed lyrical maturity on a really high level.
Implying TBA is on the level of that ass scraper.
Nah man you're the opposite of the free handing out people. You're the SirBiatch of the polls, giving 0 classics unless to like 1 album every 10. I appreciate that kinda strictness but taking it too far. To say Jay has 0 certified classics is dumb.

I complained about people giving Nas FOUR or FIVE classics. Early in the polls I saw Nastradamus and Street's Disciple getting a vote and then like 4 albums having over 50% votes for classic.
That was my issue. So the lowering standards point was in anticipation of Nas stanning reigning supreme and the dude ends up with 4 classics or something crazy. One dude voted across the board 'yes'. 2 isn't unreasonable, 3 kinda yes CONSIDERING what other artists with better discographies have been getting, including Jay, Redman & Scarface.
So I'm not lowering standards for anybody. I think the Jay votes were conducted fairly.

Of course there's stans. I'm not really talking about the voting though. If you use albums like illmatic/ob4cl as a messuring stick none of his stuff adds up.

Tbh Nas almost gets held to higher standard than most cuz of Illmatic. Jay didn't have that issue since RD was kind of under the radar at first. Illmatic has almost been a burden for Nas
