I never understood the love for 7 Day Theory. I heard that album a few years ago and, outside of the obvious classic Hail Mary, the rest sounded wack as fukk to me. Especially the production. I know this opens me up to Pac stans, their rage and negs, but :umad:

I'm not a Pac hater. He has a few of my all-time favorite songs. But outside of Hail Mary, what are the joints y'all LOVE on that album? Maybe you'll show me a track I shouldn't have slept on.

Niccaz bite on the east coast media "Too much filler" propaganda all the time.

I'd love to see a nicca narrow AEOM down to 16 tracks.

I gotta see that one!

Kanye doesn't write his own rhymes and his beats are produced by teams of people, y'all believing he's a "special" talent is legendary brainwashing, salute him and whoever pushed that rhetoric for the manipulation tho. Pac a different breed, on every level, don't compare

3 of the most powerful tracks in hip hop history...Profound introspectives.

No other MC can make songs like those.

The lack of production is what gave it that charm. It's just gritty, dark, introspective

Could've throw "Krazy" in there, to

its more than just the individual tracks. the whole vibe is so dark and eerie you could really feel he knows death is just around the corner as he's writing it. and this is the album that got the pac stans examining for conspiracy theories:pachaha:

great point. I agree that the atmosphere on that shyt is crazy. But that's the point - you have to buy into 2Pac to care. Cuban Linx/Liquid does a much more melodic, intellectual, artful version of paranoia (especially with RZA's beats). Pac's version is not done as well, but in a way, seems realer to a Pac fan because it seems like shyt was recorded quick as fukk. That's real ass paranoia I guess :pachaha:

Some of those songs, like Blasphemy, are just abstract and rambling. nikka starts talks about the ten rules of the game, stops at rule two and just goes off the deep end :russ: With the wack ass plodding beat in the background. I'm sorry breh. I just can't with this album.

White Man'z World is an example of why I can't fukk with Pac's flow sometimes. nikka sounding like Silk Da Shocker on parts of that track. Stumbling over words and shyt :russ:

"I got words for my comrades, listen and learn
Ain't nuttin free, get back what you earned, no doubt"

The way he said that had me :dahell:

or even

"Out for all that, knowin' that this world bring drawbacks
Look how they shiver once I deliver these raw raps"

The way he said "look how they shiver"....

"hell nah, this ain't my posse
Everyone with me is family, cause everybody's got me
Watch me paint a perfect vision, this life we livin'"

All this shyt is borderline word salad. I can't rap along to that shyt.

White Manz World
Blasphemy
Hold Ya Head

I appreciate the receipts, breh. "Krazy" isn't bad as I remember. Those guitars are soulful as fukk.

Doesn't Pac's vocal delivery on "Krazy"

I took a minus and now the hard times are behind us
Turned into a plus, now they stuck livin blinded

kinda remind you of

Baby girl, you're so damn fine though
I'm tryna know if I could hit it from behind though

I'm sipping on you like some fine wine though
And when it's over, I press rewind though, ay

Definitely "To Live & Die In LA", "Blasphemy", "Krazy", "White Man'z World", "Me and My Girlfriend" and "Hold Ya Head". Honestly, I'd take any of them songs over "Hail Mary" any day.

There's ten rules to the game, but I'll share with you two
