My bad. Thanks for the correction.

Still, where the other 8 at? Guess I can't fault the dude if he only wanted to share two :russ:

Hating on Blasphemy cuz you want every detail spelled out? :pachaha:

Dude said he'll share with u 2 and you're still complaining about not getting the other 8. Half the point of that song is what's unknown, mystical shyt, deception, etc.

I'm still waiting on those Continental stories too breh

Neck ties and boxing gloves.
To compare the two, in itself, is blasphemy.

Pac actually came up by his bootstraps and wrote every lyric he rapped. Flaws aside, the man is an icon.

Kanye's privileged ass has been spitting rhymes written by someone else on records someone else produced.

Here is an interesting and good breakdown for "Blasphemy". It just shows you how deep and powerful the song was.

:sas2:

smh disrespectful

come on man, you don't like em that's cool, but they're legendary and of the highest quality, you'll see for yourself when I put their albums up for voting.

theyre legends but not on the level that youre trying to boost them to. they werent even remotely close to being on the mt rushmore of their era, so how do they get on an all-time mt rushmore?

i actually liked outkast in their prime. i just know who they are and who theyre not. this belated push that yall keep giving them is insulting to somebody like me that really grew up living this chit.

i already know the internet is their home turf so their poll isnt proving anything to me. theyre probably gonna vote their weak albums as classics too.

They weren't GOATs of the South? or you gonna display regional bias again?

even if they weren't, in the context of discography, they belong on Mt. Rushmore. ATLiens and Aquemini are to Kast what Low End and Midnight Marauders are to Tribe.

dog. i used to live in the south. theyre legends but dont nobody down there looks at them as no goats, except maybe a few '90s homer stans in georgia.

if their discography was as great as youre making it out to be, then they would automatically have the status that youre clamoring for. especially seeing how theyre one of the better-promoted groups ever. you dont even have the albums right. SPCM is their highest regarded album and the only joint that can pass as a universal rap classic.

ehh. i think midnight marauders is tribe's 2nd best release, but it came out when they were treading downwards in popularity. that 1st album - which i think is kinda ass, meant more to their careers.

i wouldnt call tribe a mt rushmore group either. it sounds like you have a certain style that you favor, and i can respect that, but yall get carried away with some of the props yall give out to your favorite artists. all im saying. not trying to single you out or anything breh.

voted yes for MATW and CD, no for the rest

faves: dear mama & all falls down

never was the biggest pac fan, out of the most likely to be on a GOAT list i probably listen to him and cube the least but i can understand other people's choice (as opposed to others)

as for kanye i believe his only classic is CD (and im including mbdtf here as well) mostly because it was fresh at the time, change the landscape of hip hop for better or for worse and also the debut album is in a lot of cases a hip hop artist's best work, everything that follows is a variation of what started it all, they might have better songs along the way but better albums rarely. also as somewhat interesting fact CD is in my book one of the classic with the longest tracklist (as it's well known that the longer the albums the most difficult trimming the fat gets). even the skits don't bother me as much as with others (whoever started the sex skits on albums should be disowned, who the fukk wants to listen to people fakefukking in the middle of an album!!!).

HUGE props to inspect for these threads as i understand the work you put in, was surprised to see the amount of pac soldiers summoned around these parts i thought nas was the god of the forum (i mean i know he still is) but please don't feed the wars as it derails from the initial discussion. just let people who get the point enjoy and the rest just let them be upset at the ''comparisons'' (even though in all honesty pac and ye might be the worst goats on the emceeing part so their juxtaposition makes sense on that level).

3 of the most powerful tracks in hip hop history...Profound introspectives.

No other MC can make songs like those.

The lack of production is what gave it that charm. It's just gritty, dark, introspective

Could've throw "Krazy" in there, to

Don't forget Against All Odds. The realest shyt he ever wrote :blessed:

White Man'z World is an example of why I can't fukk with Pac's flow sometimes. nikka sounding like Silk Da Shocker on parts of that track. Stumbling over words and shyt :russ:

"I got words for my comrades, listen and learn
Ain't nuttin free, get back what you earned, no doubt"

people love that type of stuff. thats one of the reasons why silkk da shocker was so popular in real-time.

you gotta be able to feel that chit. you cant take a textbook approach to rap.

i almost split a spleen listening to some of that stuff breh. almost split a spleen.
